Stopped into this restaurant location during a less busy hour, 2:30 pm. There were only 2 other customers in the restaurant at that time. The counter attendant was distracted and hard to understand. The kitchen staff complained about working, while sitting around on their phones. Sweet tea was out, and needed to be made, was told they would bring them out to the table later. Every table in the restaurant was dirty, half the napkin holders were empty. Waited 20 minutes for the food to come out. When the order came out from the kitchen the meals were not as ordered. Asked for missing items and the server said they would get it but then never came back. Teas purchased were never brought to the table, had to walk back up to the counter and ask for them. Restrooms were dirty with paper product holders all empty, but someone had left a little roll on the grab bar near the toilet and then a towel roll on the sink counter, getting nice and wet on the bottom.
McAlister's deli is a favorite stop and our family has visited them from the East Coast to the West Coast, and the North to deep South. McAlister's deli in general has a standard above many restaurants out there, like chick fil a, McAlister's sets the bar high. But the people running the restaurant need to be keeping the standard. This McAlister's deli is not meeting the standard. Read moreTo whom it may concern: I ordered 2 chef's salads with extra turkey on 01/04/2024. I called in the order and picked it up and went home. Upon opening the salads I realized that my order didn't have the extra turkey and pickles that I ordered and the discount I was supposed to receive from being a rewards club member. I immediately call the store in my city and addressed the issue with the manager on duty and she took care of the issue. Her name is Ms. Kionte. She went above and beyond for me. She was so very nice and polite, and most importantly she was very professional. She even called me back to make sure my order was correct. She took time with me and my order and I appreciate that so much. She is an excellent leader for others. I ask that many other workers follow in her footsteps and learn what excellent customer service is because she has it. I give her 1000+ stars. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, KIONTE!!!!!! Read morefirst of all, you have to order thru a robot on the phone then get charged a 3% service fee just for ordering. i went inside to pick up 2 sandwiches & sides, & a nacho basket. i get to the truck & there is only one sandwich in my bag. i go back inside to get the one they didn’t pack up, which was my husbands sweet & savory chicken sandwich. he took a bite before we even pulled out of the parking lot & the chicken is cold. there is partially spread yellow-ish sauce that looks like they tried to put honey mustard on the bun, then realized it doesn’t go on that sandwich, instead of starting over with a fresh bun. my sandwich was cold when it is supposed to be hot. also got a sweet tea when i came back in to get the sandwich that was left out & i got charged for it- which whatever at that point.
