Meh is the best I can say about this place. Ate here years ago when I lived here and wasn't impressed with anything. Was harangued into going again with family this evening, and I went only because we all haven't gotten together in a while and I felt obliged to. Menu is pretty basic, but their po-boy selection is terrible. When you mention po-boy, it's usually centered around oysters, shrimp, fish, or some other seafood selection. Their po-boys are basically expensive deli sandwiches with run of the mill lunchmeats. Service was poor. Waitress couldn't remember who ordered what. Food came at several different intervals, and took quite a while to get anything. Although I didn't time it, I'm guessing at least 35-40 minutes from the time we placed our order. Brother's nachos were so onion packed I could barely stand the smell. I've had better DiGiornio's pizza than what I received. Paper thin crust and ingredients which were obviously out of a can or a jar; nothing fresh. Bathroom was beyond disgusting with urine all over the floor and toilet, and as dimly lit as an inquisition's dungeon. Sign out front stated "Floors may be slippery'. Yeah, because nothing has been cleaned in forever. I'll fake being sick next time I'm requested to meet at this place. Hard pass. Oh, and the bill? Have to get the table number from the wait staff, wait in line at the cook's counter, and after 5-10 minutes, you may get to pay the bill if everything is correct, which it wasn't. Get with the times people. Oh, and funny how out of all the 1 to 2 star reviews they've received, management hasn't reached out to anyone to rectify a complaint or try to resolve a...
Read moreHorrible management. We walked in right at 5 and the floor was filthy and full of napkins all over the floor. We sat for a good 10 minutes while 3 waitresses waited on about 6 additional tables. They would stand next to the entrance to the kitchen area and talk. Not a one of them bothered to even ask if we had been assisted. After staring at them, one of them finally stopped. We waited about an hour and 15 minutes as we watched tables which ordered way later than us finish up and leave. Now our waitress apparently never once asked the kitchen where our pizza was. We finally stopped her and she checked..she never turned in our order. Waited another 45 minutes. I was so done, I had the pizza packed up. She did apologize but management never stepped in to apologize or offer us anything. When I was paying the bill, the guy checking us out asked if everything was good. I told him after sitting there for almost 2 1/2 hours waiting on pizza, I was quite tired and ready to get out of there. The manager was standing right there and never said a word. All the guy checking me out said was "Oh". Pizza Village is good, clean, and will be getting our business for future pizza night outs. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because when you do actually get served...
Read moreWe went here last Friday and it was terrible. It was dark. It was hard to have a conversation. One wall is completely made up of booths. If the person behind you moves backward, you move forward. It was terrible uncomfortable. We got the garlic bread sticks and they were very crunchy but also very thin. not a lot to them. The sauce to go with the bread sticks was too spicy to even use. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and the sauce was very spicy. I had leftovers later and by that point, the pizza was so spicy that it was making my nose run and making me cough. I will not be back. The pizza itself was crunchy which I didnt mind but the spice was just too overwhelming. They offer a Hawaiian Hot but I dont know why. The regular one is spicy enough. I don't typically post negative reviews but I had to let other people know about the...
