Holey Moley Bagel Shop — Restaurant in Orange Park

Stopped in this place due to the big NY bagel sign out front. I personally being from up north couldn’t wait to indulge in a good bagel breakfast sandwich like back home. This was definitely a strike out! For starters the prices are high for basic BEC. You can go to diner get sandwich hash browns and coffee for that price $9. I specifically asked for toasted bagel it was not it was more like a microwave heat. My second sandwich I asked for Turkey bacon egg cheese and spinach got home no spinach. That sandwich was also not toasted. When you first drive in their banner says free coffee with purchase of breakfast sandwich. The owner I’m assuming stated you had to ask for it. I’m sorry if your promotion is free coffee with any sandwich purchase shouldn’t you be asking me how I like my coffee. I always like to give new business the benefit of doubt but this was my first and last time coming here. There’s too many other options to dine. What a waste of $16 in my opinion. First time visit today. We were fed up with the service at a bagel shop in Riverside. This place is great! Very personable staff, big selection of bagels, and nice assortment of cream cheese flavors. The business was very clean and well kept. The bagels were huge, fresh, and tasted fantastic! My wife ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. I ordered a ham, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and a blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese. They were delivered to our table hot and delicious! We are making this our ‘Go To’ establishment for bagels. They also have a wide selection of bagel sandwiches. I’ll be trying one of those on our next visit next week. I highly recommend this shop. I wanted to give this place a 5-star soooo bad but missing a topping that was paid for is less than ideal. The bagel was absolutely delicious and the service was phenomenal. I loved the ambiance. Definitely don’t regret anything about my experience here. My bagel was mistakenly made with cheddar instead of gouda which was fixed quickly and the worker even asked if I wanted to keep it. I only dropped the star when the new bagel came back without the lettuce I paid extra for but the cheese was correct! (They are a bit pricey I might add) I didn’t want to waste a second bagel though so I ate my meal and left.
