I was disappointed when I noticed that somehow my review was removed. So I thought I’d add another review. The incident did take place about a year ago, so for me to add another review after a year tells you Traumatizing my experience was. I had my hair highlighted at the key to glam and they completely destroyed my hair. Not only was it copper orange but it was burned off and crispy. The salon owner Danielle was not only aggressive and unprofessional, but once I left a bad review, she provided my personal information To her sister And her sister began to harass me. Her and her sister went as far as slandering my business page to the point I had to remove my business page. At that point, Danielle, the salon owner, Began making derogatory comments and statements towards my son who at the time was nine years old and he is on the spectrum. She was aware he was on the spectrum because he was at the salon with me. Disgusting behavior for an owner to attack a disabled child. I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately, nothing came of it as she refused to refund my money. Took me over a year to get my hair back healthy. Absolute horrific experience. I added before and after photos to this review. Update: owner responded The crazy thing is the entire time we were going through this, you never once mentioned she worked for herself. Owner took it upon herself to give out my personal information to her sister who Harassed me with phone calls until 2 AM in the morning and slandered my business page. So if this was between me and the stylist, then owner & sister should not have been involved especially you being the salon owner. I did not pay the stylist. I paid the key to glam. I was not going to allow her to touch my hair after she destroyed it and fried it. That would be silly of me to let someone that just burned my hair off and turned it copper orange to touch it again. Clearly, she Didn’t know what she was doing. When I walked in my hair was blonde when I left it was copper orange and burned off. This has nothing to do with any other salon, but The Key to Glam. The only Other review I have for a hair salon is JCPenney’s hair salon, and that was four years ago šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø Nowhere near the time I was at the Key to Glam. Reporting negative reviews from a paid customer is crazy. I guess If the key to glam destroys your hair and you leave a review, the owner will just report it so customers can’t see what they did to your hair. Wild!!!

My hair stylist's name is Danielle Aiko. I've known her for 6 years. I first met Dani in 2019. I am VERY picky when it comes to my hair and I DO NOT just let anyone put their hands to take care of my hair. The first time I came across Dani's work was on Facebook. I was impressed with her technique and her portfolio displayed classy and tasteful work. She has years of experience and is really good at what she does. I only go to her and I refuse to go anywhere else. She is her own separate business and rents a chair at Key to Glam. I followed her and have been coming to this salon since they were first located on Blanding Blvd. A few years back the salon relocated on 17 close to Moosehaven and I STILL go there because Dani works there. She is always booked and it's best to schedule ahead of time. She requires a deposit which secures your appointment and will then apply towards the total amount. She takes all forms of payments and charges fair for the quality of work she provides. There are 2 Danielles (the owner and the hairstylist).People mistake her as the owner of the salon because they have the same name. If you need a great and experienced hairstylist/ hair colorist, I highly recommend Danielle. Follow her Instagram daniaiko.hair. Visit her at Key to Glam and while you're there, go shopping cos they have cute items for sale.

I had the best experience at this salon yesterday! I have always believed if you see someone whose hair you like ask them where they get it done and that’s how you will find your new stylist. I did just that, and after searching for 14 months, Faith is my new stylist. It is rare that you get exactly what you ask for and that’s what she did, I was so impressed! That the salon is surrounded by cute boutique items and clothing made it an all around fun experience (and yes, I spent as much on the boutique items as I did on my hair - so reasonably priced!). Can’t say enough good about this whole place and will definitely be going back and spreading the word!!!

Love this shop and salon. I love the space and hairdressing tables are not your typical salon space. Everything flows with the shop.

Danielle has different products available, why not get your hair done and then shop for a little cute outfit or jewelry to go with your new hairdo?

As for my hair, Faith is my girl and only one I trust. I started services with her after COVID limited exposure in 2020. Her prices are reasonable for all services of hair cuts, style to color. She is amazing and will make you feel amazing.

I recently referred a friend and my daughter to Faith. Both of them called me immediately after their appointments thanking me referring Faith. They both said ā€œFaith goes above and beyond. I didn’t expect the extra TLC. I feel amazing, my hair feels WONDERFUL and I look and feel beautiful. Faith is exactly who I needed to give me a confidence boost and get me out of my funk!ā€

I made sure to share their excitement with Faith.

So if you’re feeling in a funk or need a change, make sure to check out my girl Faith. She will get you back on track to feeling confident and happy! I always book my next appointment when I’m done as she...
