Doña Meche Mexican Food — Restaurant in Orange

You can go into some Mexican restaurants, order a burrito and it comes in a styrofoam container with the burrito and in one of the two little spaces in the container is beans and the other has some rice. Maybe you ordered a "combo" to get the beans and rice, maybe it just came that way. But you DO get beans and rice as sides with burritos sometimes, right? Yes.

Having grown accustomed to this meal, sometimes I order a bean & cheese burrito with beans and rice. Usually this is no problem, sometimes though it is.

Some places do not give a side of beans and rice with their burritos. At these places if you ask for such a thing they look at you like you are daft. This is one of those places.

My wife and I placed our orders - a bean & cheese burrito with a side of beans and a side of rice. (We both ordered the same thing.) The guy said, "Umm.. okay. Inside?"

"Inside what?" I asked

"You want beans and rice inside your burrito? Okay."

"No. It already has beans."

"So you want rice in your burrito? Okay."

"No. I would like a side, like outside the burrito. A side of beans and a side of rice."

"Umm.. the burrito already has beans."

"I know."

"Sooo.. you want.."

We went back and forth like this for some time. I even said it in Spanish. He finally confirmed it in Spanish. He put in the order, then went back to confirm it with the chef.

What did we get?

Walking in I encounter a blower fan on the floor being used as a fan, blowing all the particulates that are on the floor up into the air. I approach the counter and the employee looks at me with a dead stare and asks me do you know what you want?. In a very rude and unfriendly way. I place my order and head to the restroom, which is located in the back and as you approach the mens restroom you can begin to smell the stench of urine. Restroom was unsanitary urine all over the floor. No toilet paper. Urine on the toilet top and a very dirty sink. The food isnt too bad but as far as sanitation and customer service I dont recommend. Unless you like to eat your food while the blower fan is blowing dirt...

Everything I do is an open book. It's the way I lived my life. I was just planning a trip to Nazaret Portugal. Just needed directions. Steady getting directions I was asked about something I ate five days ago. But if that's what Google maps wanted I got time for Google maps and all of you hey have a good evening.
