Los Escalera's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Orange

We just ate the green wet burrito and five carnitas tacos with the green salsa. When I say these are the BEST tacos I've ever consumed, i mean it! I've been eating tacos since I was a kid and have eaten at over 30 different restaurants including the fast food options. These are very much worth it, the flavor was bold and delicious, the crispiness of the carnitas was perfection , the tortillas didn't fall apart, and the salsa was to die for! The green salsa is perfect for those who can't handle too big a kick with their spice. The wet burrito was full of meat, so tasty and topped with cheese and sour cream. It was filling my partner up three quarters in which is saying a lot. The atmosphere was perfect, nice and quiet for me. The inside was clean and had about five tables where you can sit four average sized adults at each one.( Might've been five tables. ) We had to buy their salsa and chips to go because of how delicious it was! wow. hands down best authentic Southern California style Mexican food in Orange Country. I’ve tried them all! the rellenos are absolute perfection, not easy greasy style! the refried beans are silky and creamy, if ya know ya know. crispy tacos 5 stars, Chile verde in a true labored over delicious sauce. This guy knows what he’s doing for sure! and I’m not even related!

We found this little gem when we moved to Orange 3 years ago and get food from there at least twice a month. The people that work there are so nice, friendly and really care about their customers. Now to the food. It is excellent! The tacos and carnitas burritos are to die for. They make guacamole from scratch and it’s the best we’ve ever had. Breakfast burritos are awesome.
