Victory Diner – Orange, CA Stepping into Victory Diner feels like a warm hug from the past, but with a fresh, modern twist. I stopped by for a late brunch on a Saturday, and I’m still thinking about it days later. The retro vibe is on point—chrome finishes, checkered floors, and classic tunes humming in the background. But the real win here is the food. I went with the Victory Burger, and it lived up to its name: juicy, perfectly seasoned, with melty cheddar and crispy onions stacked high. The brioche bun held everything together without getting soggy—a small but crucial detail. Their hand-cut fries were crispy, golden, and addictive. My friend ordered the Chicken & Waffles, and after one bite, I had serious food envy. The fried chicken was ultra crispy but juicy inside, paired with a waffle that was buttery and just sweet enough. Service was friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. It’s the kind of place where the coffee’s always hot, and the vibe makes you want to stay a little longer. Victory Diner has that rare mix of comfort, nostalgia, and quality that keeps you coming back.

Fantastic first experience at Victory Diner! We had to bring our Son during the middle of the night/early morning to CHOC. Since only one parent could go in, got a little hungry due to the long wait. Found Victory Diner while I was driving around and even during the early hours noticed the drive thru was pretty busy so fired up Google Maps. Found they have what I typically look for during the AM hours.... breakfast burrito!! Ended up buying a sausage burrito. First impression, good weight behind it (perfect for two full servings). Took a first bite and went in. Delicious! Had perfect amount of sausage, cheese, and potatoes. What took it to the next level was the sauce/salsa. Mmmm made it even more tastier. I don't know what sauce they use but it tastes better than other breakfast burrito salsas I've had at other places! Found out they also got dui fries (I love pastrami+ carne asada+fries) but since this place isn't too close from home might have to go for that next time we're around. Thanks and cheers!!

The restaurant requests masks upon entering. I was sitting in the emergency room when I found this wonderful place. The pictures made my mouth water so once we were finished at the hospital we drive over. Although this is walking distance from St Joseph's and CHOC hospitals. The service was quick and friendly, there was a line coming out of the drive thru and yes..... They're open 24 hours!!!!! I ordered the carne asada fries and a side of onion rings if I'm going to do it I might as go big lol. My son has the DUI fries which has fresh fries, chili, cheese, pastrami and carne asada, he also added onions and guacamole. He also ordered a large soda and the total was under $24 I thought that was a great deal especially for all the food that you get. You'll be happy and full from this diner. Enjoy! I'll definitely bring the whole family back for a weekend breakfast🍳🥞

Beautiful place! It is like a hybrid of a no service and full service. They bring you your food.. clean dirty dishes from your table while you eat. It feels like the employees are happy and like their job. Now the food. Interesting mix of food ( one of those places that everyone in your group should be able to find something they would enjoy) Burgers and fries, breakfast (served all day) and burritos.. and more. They have shakes which we didn’t try but I imagine would be good.. we had chorizo, rice, beans and tortillas ; biscuits and gravy and fries. The stand alone order of fries is very large and great. Biscuits and gravy has an appropriate Amount of gravy which is important for that meal(I have had it at other places with little gravy and will probably never go back to or at least not eat that there but here it was real good). The chorizo plate was great! And a large serving. Very unique atmosphere, clean and nice people. Oh and the meals are reasonably priced. I gave one of the larger % tips I ever have in a tips box by the register because I was so impressed! Everything was so great and they fully deserved the tip (vs places you go to and you tip because you feel you have to and did not get great service). There is nothing about this place that makes you feel you have to give a tip or are expected to… it is a place you want to give a tip because they really truly deserve it! Also… I do not write reviews often and may not have ever for a restaurant. I felt I would not be doing my part if I did not give this great place the credit and respect they deserve. I don’t live near here.. I want one of these where I live!… and I definitely wish for this business, owners and...

The food here is very fulfilling and good. Ordering one item like the burrito for example or a combo such as the standard burger and fries, or the chicken strips basket with fries is usually all I need. It is recommended for people who are big eaters or have big families to feed as the portion sizes are pretty good in my opinion. Usually there are leftovers because of how much is provided.

It's not really recommended for people with small stomachs who also don't want to take leftovers home because the food portions are worth it for sharing with family or for one's self depending on how much someone can eat all at once.

🍲 Food: I usually order either a bean and cheese burrito, a cheeseburger and fries or the chicken strips with fries basket. They also have zucchini fries that are pretty good too! I try to keep my orders simple because the food comes in large portions even in a single meal.

🥤 Drinks: I tend to get a soda, juice or sweet tea from the soda fountain when it comes with an order combo.

🏡 Atmosphere: It's pretty good. It hss that kind of old vibe like a classic diner, yet also has airplane designs on the wallpaper. There's even a military styled airplane model hanging from the ceiling for decoration.

🛎️ Service: It's great. You can choose to either dine in or take your food to go. They also have a drive-thru on the side of the building in case if you don't want to get out of your vehicle. It's open 24/7.

💰 Price: I think the price of what you get is fair because again in my experience, the food comes in large portion sizes that is most-likely going to either fill you up or allow you to have leftovers to take home if you can't manage to finish it...
