Whataburger — Restaurant in Orange

I'm a Texan born and raised,,,not sure if its the time I spent in the military but first impressions are important especially in a restaurant,,,(at least for me it is). Anyways I don't normally leave reviews for Whataburger normally the food taste about the same hot and fast most times. Today, I go inside to sit down for awhile,,,first thing I look at is the floor coming in and yep it's dirty, nobody is in the dinning area,,that's ok I've really got to go the restroom,,,,glad I only had to piss,,,,cause this one was bad,,,The floor had old piss on it and the urinal didn't flush, now I need to wash my hands but even the sink I almost passed washing my hands because it was that bad,,,I washed them mom,,I swear. The counter area had a red bucket of something they're using to wash the trays but it's only half way done and guess that employee had to go on break cause there's nothing like ordering your food staring down into a cleaning bucket and dirty rags. The drink area wasn't a complete disaster but just like the rest of the dinning area could have used a good cleaning for sure. I was really hungry so I just refused to look behind the counter and see what I'm pretty sure I already knew,,,but the food tasted ok not great. We always stop at this location on our way to the casino. Lately we have been pretty disappointed. This time, we went in first to use the restroom. The toilets look rusted out and unclean. The bathroom in general felt like it needed a good scrub down. When we went back to the car to order food in through the drive through, we experienced bad customer service. Due to dietary restrictions, we had asked for a chicken sandwich, but to be made like the Whataburger with all of the same fixings. She was very confused by our request also we talked around in circles. Then we had asked for a milkshake. We got denied since the ice cream machine was not working, so we had to go across the street to McDonald’s to get our fix. To get to the window to pay, there was a cement pole in the way to protect the gutter. I understand it’s purpose-to protect the integrity of the gutter. However, it made it nearly impossible to reach the window with how far it made me drive away from the building. By the time that we got our food at Whataburger, all of our burgers/sandwiches were cold. I have often visited this location and never had any complaints. Yesterday my spouse and I dined in. We ordered a #5 & #2. We sat and waited on our order approx 10 mins. We received our order and the burgers were awful!!! Both burgers were cold and soggy. The vegetables weren't fresh and mayo and mustard dripping everywhere. My burger the meat was broken in half and kept falling off my burger. The cheese was cold on both burgers. The only thing hot were the fries and apple pie. The sodas were so awful. My husband poured both out and refilled the cups with different drinks. Hoping for a different outcome, but to no avail. Overall the food was a waste of money and we will forever past up this location. I did notice a customer returning a burger for a remake. The workers appeared to have been taken off the streets to work. Just standing around, while they could've been cleaning the filthy tables and floors.
