Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Oregon

This review is regarding a delivery order, not in person service. I ordered online using their website. I pre-ordered the food and chose to have the food items delivered by a designated time. Once the order was 30 minutes late, I called. I was told that they were short on delivery staff so it was sent to a third-person service (Door Dash) for delivery. I was never sent notification of this, nor was I given the opportunity to follow the delivery service through the Door Dash app on my phone. When I asked when the food would be delivered, I was told that the order had not been picked up yet but it should be out for delivery soon. When another 15 minutes went buy, I called again and spoke to a second person. She said this was a common occurrence - that they often do not have enough delivery staff, then the orders have to be send out third-party, and the orders are then delayed. Meanwhile the pizza had been sitting in the restaurant or car for an hour, the food was extremely subpar, and the delivery was 50 minutes late. I asked to speak to manager, not available. I asked to have the manager's name so that I could follow up the next day, and I was told they were not allowed to give the name of the manager out. I asked for a call back, and I did not receive a call back. Please be aware that having food delivery, while having paid a fee to do so, is not a good option with this restaurant. IMO, it is deceptive to say it can be delivered at a set time, while they are aware they can not guarantee this. Furthermore, there should be compensation when the service is this inadequate, the food is poor quality, and the willingness to meet the customers...

I just love Round Table Pizza their Pizza is baked perfectly divine:-) So occasionally on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. I take my wife and daughter to their dinner buffet. The employees there are very and a great thing about this business at this location is you can see different employees at different times washing their hands and that right there helps me and other customers I'm sure enjoy their meal much much more :-). They have a fully stocked fresh salad bar with alot of different veggies and different salad dressings but they're Pizza WOW is just great, they have different varieties that they put on the bar and if you have a favorite kind of pizza that's not out there if you ask nice enough and they're not too swamped with orders they might just make it for you and they always yell "fresh pizza on the bar" when they put out a fresh one right out of the oven! Keep up the good work Round Table and my family will continue on going there! King Road and 82nd that's our favorite one. You should check it out for yourself. They have a lunch buffet also I was told during the other weekdays but I've never been to the lunch I'm very satisfied with my one day a week at the dinner buffet :-) thank you and I hope this review helps you on your decision of enjoying a nice meal. Almost forgot to mention the music that's playing above in the speakers is enjoyable soft rock and soft classic rock! There's also a few video games for the "kids". Dinner buffet price for two adults is $16.99. That's the price of one large pizza at a different restaurant but you only get one kind! And you don't...

I have been eating round table pizza regularly for almost 50 years and have been going to this one for well over 15..used to be the best and best service. .....not anymore!..the last 4 i have bought have been a nightmare...i waited 1 time for over 3 hours and kept saying its on its way.....then they brought me a pizza that even the cook said was over 2 hours old....tonight they said they were kinda busy and delivery would take well over an hour and recommended that i pick it up because it would be ready in 15 minutes....so i did....showed up in about 20 min.....sent my daughter in to get it and they were just putting my SMALL pizza in the oven and told her it would be about 7 minutes cook time....she sat there for 35 MORE minutes being completely ignored..needless to say it was cold by the time they figured out who's break time it was...which seemed more important than serving customers...she saw them comp 4 customers for screwing up or massive delays of at least an hour.... and i'm just done with this exact RTP....my daughter recognized some of the employees she used to go to school with and it turns out they are well known tweakers so that probably explains why this shop has gone to hell in the last few years.....i WILL be contacting corporate because I'm sure they dont know exactly how bad this place has gotten recently.....good luck if decide to try them but i no longer brag or tell my friends how great it is (was)...time to find a new pizza place after 50 years!....shame really!!...i'll take my 25.00 a week business...
