Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) Review: I cannot say enough good things about my experience at The Patio. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this was going to be more than just another meal out—it was warm, welcoming, and full of charm. Whether you’re dining solo, with family, or out with a group of friends, The Patio has the perfect ambiance for any occasion.
Let’s start with the atmosphere. The interior is clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated with a casual yet cozy feel. There’s a great blend of natural wood tones, comfortable seating, and a layout that allows for both intimacy and lively conversation. On warmer days, the outdoor patio area is truly something special—well-shaded, beautifully arranged, and the perfect spot for a relaxed meal under the sun or stars.
Now onto the food, which is the real star here. I’ve visited multiple times and have tried a variety of dishes, and I’ve yet to be disappointed. The BBQ selections are outstanding—the pulled pork sandwich is tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor, and the baby back ribs practically fall off the bone. Their rotisserie chicken is another standout—seasoned perfectly, moist on the inside with crispy, golden skin. Every side dish complements the mains so well—from the fresh coleslaw and buttery corn on the cob to their creamy mac and cheese and seasoned fries. The portion sizes are generous, and the presentation is always neat and appetizing.
On my most recent visit, I also tried their chopped salad, and it was surprisingly one of the best I’ve had anywhere—fresh, crunchy ingredients tossed in just the right amount of dressing. It’s clear they care not only about the flavor but also about quality and consistency.
What really elevates The Patio, though, is the exceptional service. The staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient. Even when the place is busy, they manage to keep things running smoothly without making you feel rushed or neglected. Our server took the time to answer questions, make recommendations, and ensured our food came out just right. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, which really adds to the overall positive vibe.
Cleanliness is another major plus here. The dining areas, restrooms, and outdoor seating are always spotless, which tells me this restaurant runs with a strong sense of pride and professionalism.
As for value, I think The Patio strikes the perfect balance. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size, and they also offer family-style meals and catering options if you’re planning an event. It’s rare to find a place that delivers this level of consistency, quality, and atmosphere all in one.
Whether you’re craving BBQ, classic American comfort food, or a great place to unwind with a glass of iced tea and some great company, The Patio is absolutely worth visiting. It has quickly become one of my go-to spots, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious, satisfying, and all-around enjoyable...
Read moreThe Patio staff got my order wrong in the drive thru. She repeated it correctly, but unfortunately there was no order screen displayed. Gave me someone else's order in the drive thru. I caught the mistake while checking my order in the parking lot and returned the order inside. Spoke with the mgr who was at the register and told him of the problem. At which time, he tells me that according to the order slip attached to the bag the order is correct. He tells me that the order reflects what I called in and ordered over the phone. I say to him, that is the problem.......I didn't call in. I ordered via the drive thru speaker. This conversation goes on for about 3-5 minutes with him denying any wrongdoing by his staff. That is until he finally looks at my receipt which I had given him with the return of the order. I also explain that my drive thru order is incorrect on the receipt......combo ribs/shrimps is what I ordered. Ribs/pulled pork is what I got. He says to me that the receipt is correct and the cashier repeated the order at the drive thru order speaker. Again, I explained she repeated it correctly but attached the wrong meat. Anyway, I was wondering how he just couldn't believe that she had pressed the wrong button. Especially when I was given a call in order that definitely did not match my receipt. Well, after much debate, I finally got the correct wrong order, which with much hesitation he offered to correct. I told him no thanks and I certainly will not be returning to The Patio. Which is sad considering I usually go 3-4 times a month with friends/family.
While I do understand mistakes happen in the fast food industry, I do not like to in essence be called a liar by the mgr who is there to resolve the problem. Customer service sucked----didn't even offer me a pop or cup of water while I waited for him to locate my order. Not that I was thirsty...thanks to Thorntons. Needless to say, I tossed the order and went to the other "P"-----Portillos.
I wish I could have given The Patio a rating of zero. Receipt #2251 is the incident receipt. Receipt #15 is just to show that I am a creature of habit.....the order was always...
Read moreI am so disappointed in the manager Dean at this location. I purchased an Italian beef with cheese and sweet peppers to go. I was 3/4 done eating the sandwich I felt a long stand of hair in my mouth and I pull it immediately out and threw the remaining sandwich away. I called thr restaurant and spoke with the manager name Dean. I explained to him what happened. He said that he would refund me for the sandwich. Of course, I was upset and I asked about food handler requirements. He then said his workers doesn't have long hair. He then told me that he’s been in the restaurant business for 24 years and I didn’t have to tell him how to do his job and the hair was probably my hair. I told him that I’m bald because of scalp conditions. He then apologize. After a few choice words from the two of us, he then hung up on me. I felt like that he crossed the line. I’ve had hair problems for years. My profile pic is at least 15 years old. Even the case, wealthier I have hair or not , it wasn’t his place to suggest it was my hair. Not everybody is trying to get a free meal. On the next day, I made it my mission to make a trip back Patio without minus my army hat. I spoke with another manager Thomas. He apologized for Deans behavior. In addition, I said that I would contact corporate as well for his rude comments as well as the problem with the long strand of hair in my food. I would have given them a 0 but...
