My visit here was extremely disappointing. Firstly, I came in at 9:15 pm for some ice cream. The place doesnât close till 10 pm. The side door closest to the parking was locked so we had to walk around the corner to another entrance. Fine. I can live with that.
Secondly, we walk in and are the only ones there. No other customers. The employee, by the name of Joshua I later learned, looked like he was breaking down and cleaning the coffee machine maybe? Anyway, during the first 5 minutes we were there contemplating what ice cream flavors we wanted, he didnât even greet us or tell us someone would be with us soon. It wasnât until a girl came out from the back and started joking with Joshua, after a minute realized there were customers, said âweâll be with you soonâ and then continues to talk to him without a care.
Thirdly, Joshua finally acknowledged us and asked us what we wanted. I asked him if they had Vanilla. He said no. We asked him if he had any other flavors and he said âweâve got whatâs here. We also have more in the back but theyâll take a minute to defrost. Like 2 hours. So I canât serve them to you.â
This is silly for multiple reasons. Iâve worked at a restaurant that serves ice cream. When one container finished, we grabbed another right out of the freezer and used the scoop which sits in hot water, to assist in easy scooping, and serve it immediately. I was dumbfounded by the statement of âI need to defrost ice creamâ. Are you kidding me? Defrost a meant-to-be-frozen item? I donât want milk. I want ice cream.
Needless to say Joshua and the young lady whoâs name a didnât get (I think she had black hair with pink in it?) were both extremely unhelpful and I will never be returning to this location. These employees seemed more intent on closing the store half hour early than taking care of...

Both reviews complained about the service and lack of food. Both reviews were more than a year old. One review was actually 3 years old. And both were accurate about bad service. On this day I visited wanting a banana split. Unlike the first review, they had bananas. The first employee was clueless on how to make a banana split. The second employee was equally incompetent. There was no chocolate ice cream so I settled for rocky road. The incompetent employee put a whole banana in the boat and proceeded to put the ice cream next to it. I tried to explain to him how to cut the banana length wise and place it on either side of the boat. That information went over his head. He had no skills on how to make a banana split.
