Today 12/23/2022 we had a bad experience with the server and the manager at Broadway Pizza in Orlando. We were 5 people eating in, I had my 8 y/o daughter sick which I did buy her a small Wawa soup for her to eat while we ate in Broadway Pizza. Upon sitting the female server (who did not presented herself) communicated that the policy of the place was to not bring other food in to eat, I explain that it was for my daughter who was sick and that we were all eating in, she continue stating With an attitude, It’s the policy I don’t make the rules you can talk to the manager, however she offer to bring a plate. My response was I can speak to the manager an explain… she left and I believe gave the manager her version or side of the story, the manager came along like in defense of the server with out hearing my side of the story and told me to just low it down with his server which my response was she can receive clients with less attitude. Two min passed by and the manager returned back stating his server does not feel comfortable serving ya’ll, ( in other words he was dismissing 5 clients from the restaurant) I asked for another server and he stated she is the only one. My response was what he wanted to hear “No worries I will leave” … This is the first time I had received such a bad example from a manager of a restaurant which he hears the side of the server and ignores the clientele side and dismisses clients from this famous franchise… if this was the case I as a manager would of not let my clientele leave and take the order as a manager and continue the day I saw he preferred to continue cooking on the back as the same server stated he was doing instead of treating the clients as a manager representing such good franchise. My disappointment to this location where definitely I will never return while this manager and server remains working…. Thank you for...
Read moreI'm not exactly sure how to rate this restaurant on a food level because I never received any. Coming in I was greeted pleasantly by the hostess. (I had called ahead earlier to see if they sold pizza by the slice and she had verified that they did.) I ordered the two slice lunch combo and waited. About ten minutes later I was told that the pizza was in the oven. Apparently they don't have any slices ready to go for customers and they make your pizza there? Odd, but ok. I watched customer after customer pick up pizzas. They smelled delicious. I had ordered two cheese slices, simple right? A half hour passes and the hostess tells me that they dropped the pizza that was to be for my slices and she's so sorry. Now mind you I'm watching people come in and carry out pizzas this entire time. I certainly can't wait another 30 minutes for two slices so I paid for my bottled water and left.
I can only think, is this place a front for something? Was that pizza in the boxes people were carrying out? If so, why would they keep making pizzas for carryout and not offer me a slice of a pizza they had available, remake that one for carryout? Why wouldn't you have slices of cheese, pepperoni, or a deluxe available if those are the popular lunch specials? The whole situation was bizarre. At least the table was clean and the bottled water was cold. But if this is a real pizza place I can't see how they make any money if they're actually serving pizza with their current practices. Maybe it's a front for...
