A Paddle in Paradise — Local services in Orlando

Simply magical! Nate was so awesome. It was the most enjoyable night with my wife and two boys ever! It wasn't just the blue green bioluminescence while paddling, it was an experience you cannot duplicate for even 10 times the money. Nate has a wealth of knowledge and interacted with everyone throughout the trip. Both of my kids even remember everything he said through the trip about the phytoplankton. Which means not only did he get through to my boys who are on the spectrum but it was fun and entertaining for them. They had never been kayaking or paddle boarding before either, yet it only took two minutes and they were both off enjoying themselves. to top it off Nate stayed out extra time to let the group watch the Space X Falcon 9 rocket take off. This is a top tier bucket list item, i don't care if you are young or old, physically fit it not, Nate made us feel welcomed and safe. Typing all of this i almost forgot we even got to see dolphins hearding bait to feed. If I could give them a 10 star review I would! This was purchased as a present for our teenage daughter for her birthday. Set everything up for them to do the 6 pm tour on Sunday.... 2 of the guests in the party got held up. Nate graciously accomodated the time change to 8:30 pm launch. The 2 guests ended up getting held up at work... wasn't going to make the launch :(

Didn't know that Nate was coming from so far (Orlando) to set up - but man let me tell you IMPECABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Super understanding and very accomidating! Was able to pay a bit more and reschedule for the next day.

Launch time ... so this trip was for our teenage daughter and she invited her older sister and husband to join on the adventure. LET ME TELL YOU - my mom heart was so happy. Both girls facetimed / called and sent a million photos - they had a blast! They did the Comb Jelly Tour and had so much fun. The oldest daughter is actually looking to book her birthday adventure with Nate in September

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worth every minute of the 2.5-hour drive (each way!) and every bug bite I didn’t notice because I was too busy geeking out over nature.

We went with Paddle in Paradise in April 2025 to chase bioluminescence—even though peak season is June to September—and let me tell you, we got lucky. The water lit up like a glow stick at a rave, and the wildlife came through like they were booked for the show.

Our guide was packed with knowledge, jokes, and cool facts that made the whole thing feel like part science class, part night-time fairy tale. 8 PM group was perfect timing—the sky was still glowing when we launched, then shifted into full cosmic vibes as the darkness set in.

If you’ve got a friend visiting and you want to wow them without needing roller coasters or bar tabs, this is it. Peaceful, trippy, and oddly emotional in the best way. Definitely doing it again when the season peaks, but April was already incredible.

Pro tip: Bring snacks for the drive back. You’ll be spiritually fulfilled but...
