I of course had to come and get a donut while we were at the park. First of all a pro tip there is candy store right inside the entrance of the park and you can get the giant Lard Lad Donut there as well.
Now onto the giant donut. Its really good. Soft and delicious with bright pink frosting. I don't think pictures convey just how big it is. Don't try and eat it by yourself as I don't think you could do it without feeling sick due to all the sugar. My wife and I split one still couldn't finish it.
Also if you eat next to the shop there are a lot of picnic tables to sit at and enjoy your sweet treat. While eating there are a lot of ducks going around begging for food. Don't worry they won't bother you instead just sit there and...
Read moreI got a pack of 4 chocolate donuts for the family. It wasn't exactly stale I would say. But it was dry like a prepackaged donut that was opened and set out for display. It was ok. But for the price you would expect they fry one fresh for you. It was about 14 for 4. I'd have to say it was ok to the kids, but I'd probably never buy anything there again. The people were polite and service was fine. Just kinda garbage food for the price. You expect Krispy cream quality or higher for that much. Overall experience 3 stars because of the poor quality of the food. It's ok just to say you did. Just not...
Read moreThis is a spot in the park worth stopping by to grab a huge donut with pink frosting and sprinkles. The lady at the counter was super nice and she had a stock of individually boxed giant donuts ready to sell. We were not expecting much of a quality donut but I must admit that the donut was pretty tasty. Since I am a huge Simpsons fan, I didn’t mind paying $12 for one giant donut. This is not a sit down spot but more of a kiosk stand with few order to go windows. There are some benches and tables around in case you would like to...
