Wow, EXCELLENT BBQ RIBS & CHICKEN! 1 Slab of BBQ Ribs- Mild red sauce with the Ribs 1 Whole Chicken- Mixed sauce red mild & yellow sauce with the chicken
*That was the way togo for us. Plus we asked for extra bread because it soaked up the sauce & was gave a bomb flavor with the meat.
Sides- Greens, Mac & cheese (favorite- if you like cheddar cheese), potatoe salad (favorite- classic south flavors) & bbq beans (my fave because the seasoning was closed to yams/sweet potato casserole seasoning) Drinks- Pineapple Sweet Tea & Pineapple Lemonade- Both were our favorite & was even better if you mixed them both in a cup of ice. Desserts- Chocolate Cake w/ chocolate frosting- So delicious I recommend this for Chocolate L💓vers. Latice Apple Pie- Favorite & not to sweet, well balance in spices. Fruit Cake- Favorite Moist cake not to sweet & well balanced Sweet Potato Pie- Favorite & the mixture was really tasty
Overall the customer service was excellent. The workers were all kind and very nice. There were some other workers outside working the fire & it was nice seeing everyone working together for 1 common goal to make EXCELLENT BBQ. If your in the area or driving through Orlando let this be on your bucket list of BBQ stops. Because it sure is worth it. This is our 2nd time stopping here as we drive through Orlando & will be a family tradition now. They accept cash, zelle & credit/debit cards. Plus they do have a few cans of soda for sale. Their bathroom is pretty clean & sitting area is comfy to wait for your togos. There is plenty of places to park on the side & great place to eat. Ask for extra napkins or bring your own!!! We recommend to get there between 11 & 12noon to get the fresh BBQ. We've come between that time & it's been great. Come early or else you'll miss out on the BBQ Brine, Juicy, Tasty Chicken. We left a little after 12noon & they almost sold out on a Saturday. Enjoy & thank you Pete's Famous BBQ for being part of our families...
Read moreFirst off let me start off by saying I’ve heard this place has great bbq, I was really excited to try this food. Upon entering I was not greeted but looked past that because I was really hungry for some bbq. I’m surprised they have not had any accidents with anyone regarding how the ribs are cut. I wasted my money on this food I didn’t get to enjoy because I almost slit my throat open. The tiny bones that are not visible because of it being chopped is scary. I didn’t even eat my food much less enjoy it because I’m worried about cutting myself. Please if any parents go here check your children’s food for the small bones. It’s hard imagining I could have went to the hospital over such a small sharp bone. The lemonade was really good but that was all I could enjoy. I’ve also heard the cakes are good but they was sold out of they key lime and sour cream so I opted for nothing else. 23$ down the drain For a rib dinner...
Read moreI may be British but I'm a former chef who's had his fair share of bbq and am also a certified Florida BBQ Assoc. judge and can honestly say these are some of the best ribs I've ever eaten!
I happened past and stopped by randomly for lunch and am so glad I did. HUGE portion of ribs, amazing sides of Mac and cheese and potato salad, plus can of soda for $15 (May 2019). I'm a big eater (read: "I'm a greedy man" lol) and couldn't eat even half of this. You know what? They were great later on straight from the fridge too!
Great medium weight smokey flavor from the oak used, lovely tangy spicy sauce and great to chat to Pete the owner on the porch outside while I ate. Keep up the great work bro! I'll definitely be back and be telling my friends about this place for a long time to come. Very highly...
