Stephen, the manager, at the time of our visit approached my group and I, where we were waiting in the back corner isolated away from other customers patiently waiting for our orders. He leaned over the barrier with no regard to social distancing guide lines stating in an aggressive manner that because his team members had supposedly addressed us previously about taking sips of our water and momentarily removing our masks to eat a chip or two, that he will have us removed from the Starbucks premises. This aggresive and unprofessional encounter was completely uncalled for due to the fact that not only were we more than six feet away from any other person per the CDC social distancing guidelines but we had never once been spoken to by any other staff members. We would have no issue following any policies Starbucks has set forth for not removing your masks at all, even while social distanced but there are no posted signs. The one in our group taking the sip of the water is a breastfeeding mother and it is crucial for her health to stay hydrated and because of the long wait we experienced she became famished. Instead of helping his staff who were rushing to recieve and fulfill orders, Stephen was too busy harassing paying customers,...

To the right after you enter is a resemblance of the snaking queue you see in the theme parks. Thankfully for the three visits (morning, afternoon and evening) over three separate days, the queue were short and moved really quickly.
You can sense the size/volume of coffee this store churns when you see staff wearing headsets giving and taking instructions on your orders. While we were making our payment, they were busying churning out our drinks.
A couple of seconds later, we were called! It was that quick! Instead of having our names doddled on the cups, instead they have sticker labels which states our order and name. I guess buying from this store lose a touch of friendliness and warmth but well, doesn't quite matter cause I just need that caffeine boost before our rides.
The atmosphere, decor and lightening is perfect. The air conditioning too, to cool you down from the blazing sun and heat. They have plenty of sockets underneath the chair/sofa, great for us to recharge our phone batteries and rest our feet.
Really like this store look and feel. Hope it gets spread to all other...
Read moreStarbucks, Starbucks, Starbucks.. This is.. yep, it’s a Starbucks. This one is on the Islands of Adventure side, though there are also one a piece in Universal CityWalk and Universal Studios areas.
This one is particularly easy to pass by. It’s not the modern sleek outside with a bright green sign. It blends in because it’s designed like the entrance of Islands of Adventure where it’s located- more of an Arabian, desert oasis Middle Eastern setting.
But nonetheless, I’ll say again it is a Starbucks. They have their normal coffees, refreshers, and pastries, none too affordable but very consistent with what can be expected from the chain. It’s nice to sit in their outdoor seating with a drink and relax a little. They don’t have any indoor seating. The Hulk ride is also right there so you can hear all the screams and it’s fairly entertaining. The employees can be pretty hit or miss, they are either incredibly nice or hate their lives, but all the same, this is a classic Starbucks (tired of me saying that yet?),...
