I had bought the chocolate frog, bertie bott's every flavor beans, ginger newt, jelly slugs, sugar quill, and felis felicis here. I bought them all because of how iconic they are and I remember reading about all of these in the books as a child. The chocolate frog was just typical chocolate and it came with a neat little card of Merlin. The bertie bott's every flavor beans are what I really enjoyed trying as a challenge, I ended up eating some disgusting ones like the boogers and they really nail the awful taste as well as the typical tastes for stuff like cherry. The sugar quill was just a normal lollipop but the design is neat (like an actual quill.). The ginger newt was probably one of the best cookies I had in a cute little shape, and I still have the box of jelly slugs and haven't tried them yet. But what I really want to say it good is the felix felicis potion, for how useful it is it's only a little more than 10 dollars a vial. I had lost my wallet in the park, and surprisingly despite it being a big park, recovered it in the lost and found when I decided to drink a few drops of it to try and taste it. I originally just bought the luck potion to taste it for fun, I didn't expect to get lucky with it. I had decided to buy another vial of it for future things that I need some luck for. I would highly recommend the felix felicis to anyone else that needs some luck in their life. The actual taste was sweet but not too unique and I kind of want to know how to replicate it so I can have more of it in the future. Of course, when I asked the salesperson at Honeydukes they didn't really know...but tldr Honeydukes sells good...
Read moreOne of my favourite shops from the Wizarding World! It looks just like the movies. I love the colors, they are so vibrant and a perfect fit for a candy shop. There are a lot of candies from the books/movies and even more. There are themed candies - like Bertie Bott's every flavour bean, Shock-o-choc and others - but also more regular candies, like simply gummies and chocolate. You can buy an empty jar, fill it with the sweets that you want, or put them into a bag instead. The shop is mostly pre-packaged candies though. The packagings are amazing. There are also a couple of desserts (like cake or butterbeer fudge) and drinks (like pumpkin juice) at the cash register, and a couple of candy merchs, like candy-themed pins and ornaments. They can also give you a little basket to shop with, if you are going to buy a lot of items. I would definitely recommend visiting this shop, even if it's just to look around. Chocolate frogs and Bertie Bott's every flavour beans are a must buy! My personal favourite turned out to be the Fizzing Whizzbees. The candies are obviously super expensive, but you will not regret the experience of...
Read moreThere were shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable. Creamy chunks of nougat, shimmering pink squares of coconut ice, fat, honey-colored toffees; hundreds of different kinds of chocolate in neat rows; there was a large barrel of Every Flavor Beans, and another of Fizzing Whizbees, the levitating sherbert balls that Ron had mentioned; along yet another wall were "Special Effects" sweets: Droobles Best Blowing Gum (which filled a room with bluebell-colored bubbles that refused to pop for days), the strange, splinter Toothflossing Stringmints, tiny black Pepper Imps ("breathe fire for your friends!"), Ice Mice ("hear your teeth chatter and squeak!"), peppermint creams shaped like toads ("hop realistically in the stomach!"), fragile sugar-spun quills, and exploding bonbons. I think in this store, you do not have a lot of sweets to add to the list, which JK provided. If you love Harry Potter, you have to come and check out this heaven store for...
