Let me say first that the decore and the presentation of the location is very beautiful and it has a great atmosphere. But the main issue that completely ruins the experience as a customer is the customer flow to get their order. This is specially an issue for new customers like me. You come into the cafe and have no greeter or direction. Nobody tells you in advanced that its open seating or that the menus are available at a certain location or that the line starts at a certain spot. As a first time customer I was lost. Also I sat for like 10 minutes before I realized that it was open seating. A hostess or whomever is needed at the front to inform the customer of the flow of the restaurant. You have to come to the counter to order and then sit back down but can lose your table on that transition. Then they give you a buzzer to go pick up your food. Second chance to lose your table. How is there no table management system that allows them to know what tables are taken? How do they do crowd management on busy days like weekends? Is it just a free for all in there? People fighting for tables? I asked for a Nutella pancake but the Nutella its on a separate container and not on the pancake making it ridiculously messy to eat your pancake with Nutella. (Dont know who thought of that). Also we asked for more Nutella because it was so little that was given for a stack of 4 pancakes; the lady got upset and gave us very little more. There just doesn’t seem to be any customer service here. Very limited business and client interaction. The girl that took our order stated that they dont have any hostess nor servers because of “covid” but there doesn’t seem to be any issue seating people next to each other on the high tops nor on the tables that seat 4, have people take chairs from other tables to seat 8. So where is covid there? It seems to be an excuse not to pay the extra bodies to make this place run smoothly, and it shows. The food is decent tasting but not enough for me to come back and deal with the disfunction. I dont see myself coming here again over a place like KeKe’s for example that customer service is guaranteed, a table is guaranteed, and the employees know the operations of the...

After checking this place out on Instagram for several months we decided to go and this was our experience:

The place itself is very cute. The decoration is very nice.

The ordering dynamic is a little confusing. You can order online or you can make the line to order your food. Either way, you will have to go and get your food at the pick up window whenever is ready.

The area doesn't have the best phone reception so they have free wifi. The password is on a relatively small sign on the wall by trash cans. It took me a while to find it.

The menu is not anywhere on the wall and they don't have paper menus. If you want to find out what they have you have to scan the tiny QR code they have by the hostess booth or on the tables.

We ordered online and it was a big mistake. Apparently the online orders take about 15 minutes to appear in their system.

There was no staff cleaning the tables after they were used so we had to do it ourselves. No big deal but they were out of napkins.

I ordered eggs over medium and they were over hard. It was also cold. The toast was good but also cold. Too bad because tostadas criollas are always yummy but only if they are warm.

My husband ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich and it was also cold. In addition the croissant itself was hard. The texture made it feel like it was not fresh.

My son ordered the pancakes and he liked them. The presentation was great and the fruit looked awesome.

The kid's pancakes looked really nice and my daughter really liked them.

We also ordered lattes and a macchiato. The lattes looked amazing with the Nutella. The macchiato was good in flavor but we ordered a double shot and it definitely looked and tasted like a single one.

The natural OJ was really good but the price was a little steep, in my opinion.

The quesitos had very little cheese inside but tasted good.

The warm cinnamon roll was good.

In conclusion, we spent almost $100 in breakfast today and will probably not return. Too bad because we live...

Stopped here to check out their new location in Lake Nona. This venue is more a restaurant than a coffee shop which I learned by a regular customer that it had to do with the property’s permits. 🤷‍♀️ That’s why the bakery case is not as diverse as the one in St Cloud. So take that into consideration if you’ve ever had the chance to visit the first location. The server sat us and although it was not busy it took them approximately 10 mins just to take our order. Actually, an acquaintance that bumped into us there took it upon themselves to get the server to come back to our table because she noticed we were waiting too long. Kudos to you my friend! 👍🏻 We had a cappuccino, one with almond milk (mine) and one with reg milk ( the hubs ). They served the Colombian brew today which is a strong flavored coffee ( just the way I like it ). Of course the flavor was delish and I’m always impressed with their attention to detail with every coffee so the design is always on point. We shared a Tripleta sandwich which came with corn tortilla chips. Not 100% impressed with the small portion for $9 although the flavor was good. Next time I’ll try the pancakes because they looked delicious and the portions seemed bigger. The location is nicely decorated and spacious and the staff is friendly and they were very apologetic about taking so long to serve us. Which makes the experience worth the visit. One thing that did throw me off a bit was that two servers sat down at one of the tables at the front of the restaurant eating Chinese food. I don’t believe that this is the norm especially when employees are usually taking their food breaks in a more secluded area in the back or in the kitchen. I think this happened because the owners were not present. No bueno. In conclusion, I prefer the location in St Cloud however given they opened not too long ago, it’s a good spot for good coffee and breakfast/brunch. And, knowing the high service standards the owners have, this place will...

Cozy Decor, Sub Par Food What we ordered: Rise & Shine, Avocado Toast, Vanessa’s Supreme, Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, Lake Nona Sunrise. The Good: The interior aesthetics are nice. The place checks all the typical boxes you would expect from a modern coffee shop. Map of sourced coffee - check. Inspirational quotes - check. Cozy couch area- check. All it’s really missing is a “Live, Laugh, Love” sign somewhere. The Not So Good: The Food. Everything we ordered missed it’s mark. The bacon looks like it’s purchased precooked and heated to order. Potatoes are not seasoned, mushy, and honestly a waste of space. Pancakes are only flavored on the outside, and once you get past that they are flavorless. The pecans on the pancakes were raw, toasting them would take some more time but add levels of flavor. Eggs were over cooked, omelet felt like it was a prepackaged omelet with bacon bits stuffed inside. The avocado toast was just guac on Untoasted bread so it fell apart when picked up. Overall: HARD PASS, honestly for the price of the food, you as the consumer should expect more. I’ve had better breakfast at bodegas. Look, it’s got it’s an identity it wants to achieve. I believe the food actively works against that end goal.

I was in the area and wanted to give the ace a try. I have seen their drinks and french toast on IG and got curious. The shop is clean, nicely decorated, modern and gives you a welcome feeling once you step in. The staff is nice, friendly and happy to answer any questions. The shop gets busy, so keep that in mind. At this time, you need to scan the QR code to pull up the menu to see what they offer or take a look on their website before you come, because the displays do not show everything available. I ordered a latte with oatmilk (they do not carry skim, so this one is extra) and a side of french toast (comes with powdered sugar). I was looking forward to a good latte to stra my morning but it was a dissapointment. The coffee was not strong enough, the oatmilk seemed to be watered down and it was not hit enough. The latte art was there but that did not make up for the bad taste. The french toast was thick, had a good taste and you can pour syrup from the containers they have at the tables. Not a bad choice. I had high expectations but sadly, the shop did not match all the hype. Not sure if I will stop by if I am in the area next time.
