The food here was absolutely fantastic! To be honest, I never thought I’d see the words “vegan” and “Cuban” in the same sentence, but they pulled it off beautifully. I didn’t miss the meat one bit — the dishes were hearty, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.
My mom and I shared the Cuban Steak plate and the loaded Island Mac Bowl, and both were generous portions — so much food that we left with leftovers (which is always a win). For drinks, we got the Lavender Lemonade. It was refreshing, balanced, and paired perfectly with our meal.
And of course, dessert was a must. We ordered a fogatto and two Cuban pastries, which were the perfect sweet ending. Everything tasted fresh, authentic in spirit, and full of flavor.
What really made the experience even better was the staff. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole visit feel warm and inviting. It wasn’t just about the food — the atmosphere and service turned it into a memorable afternoon.
Yes, the prices are a little higher, but with the quality, the portions, and the overall experience, it’s more than worth it.
Final verdict: a strong 9/10. This place has officially gained a customer for life. I love supporting local businesses, and I truly want to see them succeed. If you’re curious about vegan Cuban food — or even skeptical like I was — trust me, you won’t be disappointed....
Read moreOmg this is the best. This place is just the best. The atmosphere was quiet, cozy, felt comfortable. The server verified what I items I could eat based off my allergies. I really appreciated that. I verified prior to going that the ice cream was safe for us to eat via email. I was surprised by all of the other instore treats. We ate so much. Don't come here on a full stomach. You'll regret it. There's too many choices. Chocolate Lava cake: warm, indulgent, creamy, fluffy, has a bittersweet flavor that isn't overly sweet. Tres leches: topped w/whipped cream and strawberries, moist, not overly sweet Macarons: strawberry apple, red velvet, seasalt vanilla. Crunchy outerlayer, creamy light centers. Very flavorful. The red velvet was sweet. The cookie kept a nice crunch. Ice cream: its coconut based but I could not taste the coconut at all. It was a very smooth vanilla. Milkshakes: made w/your choice of milk. My husband just keeps saying it's the best milkshakes he's ever had (and he's had cow milk). It's a soft icy milky treat. Flan: ordered more to go. I have never had flan. This was the best tasting thing that has ever gone in my mouth. It was silky and smooth with warm burnt sugar caramel flavors. It had such a rich profile. The prices were as expected for GF/V dining. The wait times were very nominal. I would recommend everyone to come here. That flan is...
Read moreI am vegan, and my partner looked on Google for a place where we could indulge and have a great afternoon together. Apparently, this place is inside some sketchy market. We went in and, to our surprise, the vibes were way off; I could cut the bad energy with a knife. Not a single hello or even a welcome; the employees were in their own little world. One of the employees was making some waffles without gloves. My partner was trying to be nice and was looking at the menu, but I had already made up my mind that I wasn't eating at this place. I'm not sure what this place is, but it definitely is not a vegan Latino-owned establishment. This is my reply to the owner who responded to me months later with a crazy response: "Aren't you taking this long to reply to me? No, hun, I saw what I saw, and it was not a Latino place. Coming from a LATINA!, when I entered the place, they were playing super loud '80s English pop music. The place is dark, and the only Latino element in that space was the Cuban flag outside. No one greeted us, and everyone was in their own little world. What I saw was a guy making waffles WITHOUT ANY GLOVES!!!! This place looks more like a ghost kitchen than a Latin vegan place. And one more thing: you can't call a place vegan when you only have 4 flavors of...
