Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Osage Beach

I’ve been ordering from a competitor pizza place closer to my home for years. I’ve become fed up with their short-staffed antics and decided to travel 10 min out of my way for dominos tonight. I’m so glad I have gave them a chance!! There was four employees working this evening and all four were diligently in their place and working hard when I arrived to pick up my online order. I was greeted the moment I walked through the door, and promptly checked out at the register. While I waited in-house for my order to be made, a gentleman walked in to pick up a phone order. Before even getting to the counter, the man was complaining about something he didn’t like about the ordering process. He then proceeded to complain that there weren’t the right amount of “drummies” in his order of wings. The employee behind the counter was patient and listened to the man berate her and another employee about his wing order. Despite this man’s unreasonable expectations and requests, the employee listened and apologized. No matter what was offered, this man continued to be hateful and rude but the employee didn’t ever return fire. The entire situation gave reassured me that I picked the right place for my dinner. All four employees remained calm, poised, and friendly, despite what could have been a stressful situation. I applaud the staff who was working tonight. I'm not sure what happened but this store has gone downhill. We order often but that will no longer happen. The quality of the last couple of orders was not their normal, we've had soggy pizza, browned wilted salad, a pizza that appeared to have been dropped with an open box and cold chicken. I understand that things happen and let it go those times. Tonight I ordered wings and salad at 6:53pm, their tracker showed it being quality checked at 7:12pm and changed to out for delivery at 7:53 as I was dialing the number. I called to cancel the order, the girl that answered stated somewhat rudely that the driver was already on the road and asked if I still wanted to cancel, I said beings my order sat there for 40 minutes yes I want to cancel and had to ask about a refund. I'm not looking for anything, just making other potential customers aware that this store is hit or miss lately on quality and customer service. I hate when I read bad reviews because it doesnt do justice to this business. They are very very BUSY at times as Lake of the Ozarks is a tourist area and sometimes the population can be tens of thousands of people. So are they capable of making an occasional mistake ??? heck yeah!!! ALL OF US ARE!!!! WHY DO WE FORGET THAT ALL OF US ARE HUMAN AND NO ONE IS OUT TO MAKE YOUR PIZZA EXPERIENCE A BAD ONE!

What I like about my local dominoes is that if they do make an occasional error... they ALWAYS make it right!!! That's all that matters to me. I don't expect perfection.... I just expenct fair and they deliver that everytime!!
