We are very happy with the service we have received. Unfortunately we did not buy our Tige’ 20 from Performance Water Sports (PWS) due to proximity. However a recent land purchase at a lake in Missouri has put us about 2 hours away from PWS. Our first service encounter was an issue with one of the surf plates. We drove down to drop it off for service not knowing whether or not they would be able to make the repair that day. The service manager said they would take a look and let us know how long. The problem required replacement of the hydraulic mechanism to the surf plate. He said that they would have to order one for us because they only had 1 set in stock and he was in the process of installing it on another boat they were prepping to sell. When he found out we were not local to Osage Beach he came back and said he would fix our boat now using the parts he had set aside for the other boat. So our boat got fixed that same day saving us a lengthy trip and allowing us to get the boat back out onto the water sooner. This repair was covered under warranty. Our second encounter with PWS was not a warranty issue. We took the boat to Rend Lake in Illinois. We were 200 yards off shore in 13 feet of water testing the surf settings when the boat came to an abrupt halt. Based on the damage we must have hit something concrete or metal under the water. This service visit required replacing the prop, prop shaft, shaft connection to the engine and gel coat repair. The repair was painless except for the fact it is a new boat. Joe provided the appropriate information to our insurance company and everything got take care of pretty quick. We picked up the boat Saturday morning and dropped into Lake of the Ozarks to run our own tests. The boat performed as expected. We put on 6.5 hours over the course of the weekend on the lake. I’m excluding the one reviewer here on Google+ that appears to have a personal vendetta against Joe… personally, he sounds like a kook… anyway, I am happy to say that our experience mirrored the glowing reviews we found here and elsewhere.
