So first off, let me say this was my first time here I called ahead of time to ask about the draft if it would be played with the sound on.. They said yes, so I chose to come here. I will say I had freezers of food that I wanted to keep cold. So I looked for a parking spot close to a plug.. I found one and parked my truck.I plugged in my freezers and went inside. I was immediately asked what I was doing, which I understand. And I told the hostess, I just had freezers, and I was going to plug them in a friend of the owners outside just said it probably be fine, just ask for the owner. When you go inside, his name was chad. So that is exactly what I did when she asked what we were doing, I said, I plugged in some freezers and if she would point me out to chad, I would go talk to him about it.Make sure it was okay. I'm sure the cost of my electricity use would be less than two dollars for the time.I was going to be there. She just gave me a dirty look and gave us a seat. When we sat down, I went over to the bartender to ask if she could turn one of the t v's to the royals game, but she was extremely busy.So I just asked my waitress when she came back. She went to asked the bartender and just about got her head bit off.Because yeah, she was busy and didn't basically have time to mess with it. I'm pretty sure that when you're a sports bar, and you have 50 TVS that if one of your customers asks for a specific Sporting event on a TV. Usually it's not a problem. Apparently today it was, however, the TV did eventually get turned on to my game. At this point, the atmosphere in the place just seemed very edgy, and everybody was in a grouchy mood. Then one of my friends that I was with when outside came back in and said, hey, they unplugged your freezers and three are cored out in the parking lot. I said okay I guess we're leaving. We would have stayed and spent plenty of money. All drinks because the NFL draft was on. However, this s* service and lack of customer care made me change my mind and leave, and I will guarantee you.I will never go back.
In response we tried to ask in advance. And our equipment was two chest freezers with food i just wanted to keep frozen. Oh and the dangerous chords... was one extention chord that ran from my truck across the end of your sidewalk that nobody other than myself was going to walk across. Sorry to cost you 50 cents with of electricity. If it was such an issue you easily could've walked over and said something. I mean I did ASK to speak with you the moment I walked...
Read moreIn response to Crazy 8 Concessions: Can you please clarify something for me. Are you actually contributing a review of a restaurant or a TRAILER PARK? Because it seems to me as though your biggest and most absurd complaint is that you could not plug in a freezer, outdoors, from your truck, unauthorized and quite possibly illegally? I would commend the staff that questioned you as there is a clear safety violation here in which you are leaving out. You were obviously indignant prior to entering the establishment (sorry, based on your grammar, allow me to explain that âindignantâ means annoyed), therefore, already convinced you were not going to enjoy your time inside. Maybe consider that the atmosphere was âedgy and grouchyâ from your perspective and was likely exuded from your hostility. Nonetheless, your review, like many other trollsâ whoâs lives are sad and without meaning, take the time to complain about things that are not even within the realm of a restaurant review, because you are simply an unhappy person. My review of what you wrote is simply, learn to write in proper English and base your opinions on facts about the type of business you are speaking of (i.e. sports bar vs. RV camping site). Your review belongs in the category for those who complaint about McDonaldsâ colors being...
Read moreWe were greeted very friendly. When there was only a few tables, or waitress was very attentive. However, once there was more than 3 tables...less so. Our food was great! But if you don't like katchup or mustard as your condiment, be prepared to pay... & without any forewarning. I had the Philly with sidewinder fries. I also shared my friend's onion straws. Also yummy. But I like ranch forthe onion straws & BBQ such for my fries. So I asked for such. But when the bill came, I was charged $.75 for each. No where on the menu does it state there would be an additional charge for such. So I asked my server about it & she got very rude and snippy with me at that point. She was previously polite. I explained that nobody told me of such when I asked for them, nor was it on the menu. I've worked restaurant for 20 years, I understand how things work. I wasn't asking for a free meal. I just wanted the charge for the condiments taken off. If it was stated on the menu I would have had the choice to maybe just get one sauce, or neither, if I had all the information. But I feel if you aren't given a choice or told up front.....then you...
