Today, 20 Nov 15, my family and I were traveling and decided to stop at Arby's in Osceola, IA for a late lunch. We entered the Arby's and were one of the two families in the restaurant. The gentleman in the other family seemed to be an off-duty employee and possibly the manager as he was telling the on-duty employees what to do.
We waited patiently and after 5 minutes stepped up to place our order. Once we placed our order we had to wait between 20 and 30 minutes to receive our food. It appeared that serving the customer in a timely manner was not a priority. The only helpful employee was an elderly lady named Angie. We were experiencing issues with the soda machine and Angie had to report it to her manager three times before something was done about it.
During that time the off-duty employee/manager was walking behind the counter and messing around with the other employees. He even fixed his own order. He was not wearing gloves, a hair net, had not washed his hands, and was sliding around on the grease filled floor. As I stood there, I saw him grab a piece of meat and pretend to slap another employee with it and watched the on-duty manager and another female employee get into an argument.
I have been to many fast food restaurants before and this one was the absolute worst. We were treated with great disrespect. I hope something is done about this issue as customer service is what your type of company is suppose to be built on. I wish the future customers of your Arby's a more pleasant experience as I will not be going back to...
Read moreTo Start, the young man taking orders and money at the drive-thru was so high he could barely formulate a sentence. He was rude, once he was able to spit out any words at all. The order was messed up obviously considering he was so impaired. He didn't give me the fries that came with the meal and when I asked for them, he argued with me that I didn't get fries was my meal and said I would have to pay for them and I said that's fine I would pay for them. Then he and his coworker went to the back, they come out both laughing and pointing to my bag, so I said can I just have a refund at this point because I'm afraid after how I've been treated that the food will have been tampered with at this point. He then said I don't need to get a refund because the fries are here and they're fine. I just took the food and left, I wasn't going to argue over a few dollars. I just threw it all out, because I could not trust the food at this point. This is a stop right off of the highway with limited food options, buyer beware second time that I have stopped at this particular place and had problem. I travel back and forth between Minnesota and Missouri several times a month, and I won't be stopping here again. I asked him what his name was and he stood there silent, staring at me trying to come up with a name, then he just started laughing and said oh my name can just be Kwon (idk how to spell the name he gave me this is spelled...
Read moreStopped here Saturday night at around 9:00 - there was another couple in the restaurant when we got there who got their food not too long after we got there. But we waited up at the counter for a good 5 minutes or more before someone even acknowledged us. The guy came and took our order - holy moly everything is so expensive $34 for my family to eat at a fast-food place! One good thing was the guy asked if we needed any sauces. I noticed my order was wrong, that he selected the wrong item. He got the manager to come up after a couple minutes, manager didn't say one word to me, so I had no idea what I was going to be getting. We waited 20 minutes for our food (another family walked in after us and maybe two people in the drive through with 5 workers). We get our food - a fry was missing and the ranches for my kid's chicken fingers. When notifying the same guy who took our order he replies, "Sorry I've been here all day and have to close". Arby's used to be our go to fast-food because the other fast-food in Osceola was so slow, but this tracked...
