Lyons Lounge — Restaurant in Oshkosh

Place is across the street from a neighborhood park. My kid and two foster kids had to pee. We walked in and the kids went to the bathroom. I went to the bar to get a beer since I felt I should buy something for using the bathrooms. There were 6 people in the bar. I was greeting with “you want something?” I asked for a bottle of beer and that the kids would probably want at kiddy cocktail. An older guy at the end of the bar asked if those were all my kids. I said one was. They guy and bartender said that they aren’t allowed in the bar , especially the two that weren’t mine. I said “even if they are my foster kids?” They said it didn’t matter and kids weren’t allowed since they aren’t a restaurant. They were wrong. State law allows kids in the bar with parents. I sent the kids back to the park and finished my beer and left without any thanks. I could have doubled their income for the day! Bartender is a bit of a dick. Shame as it seems like a nice place...

If I could leave a negative star I would. Bartended charged me $2 dollars more on my 3rd visit. If you can’t charge the same prices or give your guest respect that they deserve get out of the service industry. Definitely needs a bar resque. Horrible. The bartender working on 1/4/17 made our drinks very weak, for 4.75 a drink you'd expect more. We where ignored the ENTIRE time here. Needless to say not leaving a tip!! And definitely not coming back with that bartender! Get someone better! She had all her friends in talking away didn't even acknowledge us the whole time. Stuck up bartender. No way!...
