Fox Bend Golf Course — Restaurant in Oswego Township

This is a lovely Golf Course in a suburb of chicago, illinois. Oswego is a nice town with lots of shopping and restaurants. The course itself was very well kept, and had some beautiful views including small ponds. The restaurant was delightful! There was a deck with live, outdoor music on a Saturday night, and the food was delicious. Our server was out of this world. She was so kind and had the most wonderful smile. It was over 90°, and never once did she seem frustrated or overwhelmed. The Pro Shop was very well equipped and had a nice selection of clothing as well. Edit to the review below. Spoke to course manager, he was understanding and explained the situation without making excuses. We played another round and the course was as expected and in good shape. Thank you. Will go back when time permits.

Played early today to avoid the crowds only to deal with the army of grounds keepers on every hole, but worse yet was the tree cutting and branch chipping going on. When we made the tee time nothing was said about bringing hearing protection with us. It was extremely loud and the workers had absolutely no concern for the people who paid to play. The chipper and chain saws ran nonstop while we tried to putt and tee off, crazy. I've played here 3 times and disappointed every time, Oswego park district has no concern...

Course is in great shape. Fun and challenging course. Pro shop desk employee seemed like we were bothering him when we checked in. We purchased beverages from the pro shop and asked for a cooler bag and we were given a plastic retail shop bag no ice and we told that's all they had. Additionally our cart broke down on hole 7. When we called the pro shop 2 team members arrived in 1 cart to get the broken down cart. We asked about another cart for us and they said we could just walk and get a new one at the turn. For the price we pay to play here you would expect better...
