Three of A Kind Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Overland

Decided to visit a local small bar for karaoke, last night. Generally this would not be a typical place that I would go to, based on the appearance of the building, but since we were all ready there, we went on in. These are my choice words of the "server' (and I use that word very loosely) rude and unprofessional. Upon asking if they made mojito's he told me "this a bar baby girl not a restaurant, we don't make those". I bit my tongue and did not tell him that the bars I usually frequent do make mojitos, so all that you need to say is no we don't make them. When we were brought our food, and asked for additional condiments, we were told "I only got two hands" as if how dare we ask our server to serve us. Then the final straw was that they have "happy hour" until 8:00 PM, we placed our drink orders at 7:30, yet were charged regular price. When my friend asked why were we charged regular price, we were told "we go by the clock on our wall, not your phone" Really!!! There was no clock on the wall! Brought non itemized receipts, that allowed the "server" to charge what he wanted. Generally I am a high tipper, but on this day, not tip was needed. It's this type of customer service, that will keep establishments like this operational, and never profitable. They will continue to have there 60 regular guests, as no civilized person, who has any knowledge of how they should be treated when going out and spending their money would ever want to patronize this establishment. It's what I like to refer to as 'A hole in the wall" because it's small & not fancy. However, it's clean, the drinks are always on point, the food is good & hot, & the staff has always been super nice & attentive. My husband & I have been here several times, when we want to just have a drink & hear some good music. We've also just called in a food order & picked it up, & we live in St. Charles. It's worth the drive. I would've given it 5 stars, but the last time that we ordered the Catfish Fillet plate they had switched it up on us, & the pieces were small & skinny. Not what we usually get. I haven't ordered it since, so it could've been a one time fluke. Anyway, I recommend this spot. Being I'm a truck driver from out of time I stopped there for a drink and food and they was very welcoming there. Most bars don't like out of Towner's but they included in their round of shots and I drink too shelf😂😂 But that fish platter 🔥🔥🔥. The Owner and and her sister also check on you to make sure your good. I'll be seeing them again next...
