As a fellow New Yorker, I know that I wasn’t going to expect the exact NYC style pizza but this pizza is overpriced for the size of a supposed “large” pizza pie and since it was the first time ever buying pizza there, I ordered a thin crust. It seems that the crust is not made from scratch at the restaurant. The perforated holes in the crust are all even aligned in the crust so the crust more than likely is premade elsewhere from wherever they order their food products. All I ever known are pizza shops where they make everything from scratch. In reality, Dominos Pizza thin crust tastes the same or better. I will probably wait til I find an Italian spot that makes pizza from scratch..from dough to finished. I was recommended to this spot by several co-workers and they heavily touted this place as top in this town. Needless to say, Mellow Mushroom has way better quality pizza. Read moreI seriously cannot recommend this place anymore than I already do. They have the best pizza in the area, absolutely nothing compares to taste. They run a little on the expensive side but I promise it is more than worth it! Their salads are huge and absolutely delicious. My husband loves their sandwiches too!!! There isn’t anything we have tried that we haven’t loved. My all time favorite is the All the Meat pizza with extra sauce! I never pass up an opportunity to get PeezO’s when I’m in town. Tonight we had a hiccup with them (everyone makes mistakes sometimes) and I cannot brag enough about how amazing their customer service is. First time I’ve ever had to contact them and they made it right two times over. They are such a wonderful business and I will always support them! Go give them a try, you...
Read moreBest pizza in town................anywhere!!!!!!!!! A 12" cost $13. Sauce is really, really good. Best of all, the ground beef isn't chunks of beef, but actual ground beef. It really is superior to any other pizza in town. My only negative is they are located on West end of town. I hope they open a store on the East side of town or Hwy 54. Attached picture has vegitables(sic) and ground beef. It is so good, I couldn't wait to start eating it.
The second pizza was a 12" with beef, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, black olives, and tomatoes, and cost $15. My wife got a 10" with ground sausage and beef for $9.99. Just can't beet it folks. ...
