I challenge you to find a better long john. I'll wait.... This place has the fluffiest and most delectable icing for their doughnuts. Every flavor I have ever tried has been a hit. Sometimes people think you're exaggerating or they just straight up don't believe you when you tell them about this place and how it beats any other doughnut shop anywhere- then they try it and become believers.

I'm in love with the classic chocolate long john, but they also have a maple doughnut that satisfies my sweet tooth. Don't worry; they also sell a variety of milks, sodas, and more to help wash it down.

If you bring these doughnuts to a meeting or gathering you're instantly going to be the hit of the party. Those that know Rolling pin will thank you as soon as they see the box and those that don't know are about to have their world rocked.

On my way from KY to EVV I wanted to pick up a few dozen donuts for coworkers and Rolling Pin popped up as highly rated so I swung by. It’s a small shop but you can see in the back how many supplies they have piled up which tells you they along a lot of donuts through this place- and it’s no wonder why- they’re delicious. If you want sugar-laden fried and glazed fakeness- not the right place for you. These are baked with care and topped with actual shop-made glazed and spreads, and fillings. The result is a real pastry that tastes familiar but different- and in a good way. Much more homemade than commercialized. As a child, our father would frequent Rolling Pin to the delight of myself and my siblings. We lived in the east end and didn’t have to drive far. Dad would bring home a mixture of the sugared round, donut holes, chocolate long johns, coconut crunch long johns and raspberry jelly donuts. Chocolate milk from their cooler would complete our treat! Dad knew just what we all liked! I’ve moved several times over the years, but never too far to drive to Rolling Pin.
