I absolutely love this store, whenever I’m looking for something specific from Mexico or other Latin American countries I know that I can get it here. Their meat counter is exceptional. They marinate the meat in these wonderful marinades, and it just makes for great grilling and tacos later. The people were friendly, seemed like a family running the place. They have a lot of items you probably wouldn't be able to find elsewhere in town. We grabbed some tacos and chiccharones. La Veracruzana has opened up a whole seating area now and is really taking it to another level. Some of the best authentic Hispanic food in Owensboro. Their menu has really expanded as they have many more options now. I had 3 tacos with 3 different meats and a sopes. You can never go wrong...
