We enjoyed the aesthetic walking in but everything after that was highly disappointing. We ordered two coffees, an acai bowl and a chicken wrap for $27. It took a very long time to receive what we ordered (over 20 mins), coffees included, and they messed up half of it. We also overheard them make mistakes with others as well. Mind you, only about 5 other people were in the place with at least three employees working. No one greeted us. But the most upsetting part was that there was no changing table in the bathroom!!! It was the first time mom felt confident enough to bring the baby out, just wanted to enjoy some coffee. We had to change a three week old baby on your bathroom floor. New mama and baby were in tears. Your other location has been open long enough to know this is a necessity. Definitely wouldn’t be able to fit a wheelchair through the door either. Not family friendly, we will not be back.
In response to owner: The açaí bowl was out quickly because it was pre made and only needed to be topped with fruit. While I do not believe it was only 13 mins, that is still much too long for very basic food and drinks (neither our drinks were out in three mins of ordering btw) with minimal people in the establishment. There were girls there prior to us who still hadn’t received their food/drinks until after we did and we witnessed your staff walk out with a food item that no one had ordered, and then proceeded to laugh in response each time they made a mistake. They certainly did not greet us (until after I said hello), but did greet the man who came after. The chicken wrap was ordered without tomatoes, but came with them and I opted to not complain due to the length of time I knew it’d take to correct. Would highly suggest spending more time working on the efficiency of staff/quality of food, and improving upon suggestions made by others rather than taking time to review footage and attempting to prove paying customers wrong (: we appreciate your acknowledgement of the changing table! The stroller had little wiggle room fitting through door so a wheelchair would...
Read moreI really don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, and this place has a LOT of great things about it too…but I do feel that people as well as the owners should be aware of certain things. The main thing I’ve experienced all three times is that it is never quick. The first time I got a drink, and it was wonderful, and the girls that were working there are always sweet, but I do feel there needs to be a better way of tracking orders. Twice now they have “forgotten” my order. Today we waited almost 20 minutes for an omelette….and when I saw the family that came in after me getting all of their food, I went up and asked. They were sweet and apologetic but when I got my omelette (which I heard one of the girls say it had been started and she forgot it) it was chewy, pretty sad, and also wrong. I was trying to give them the benefit because I know food service is hard. This is all mainly to say, this place has some wonderful qualities- more good than bad for sure, but they need help with their ticketing/tracking...
Read moreThe staff and Baristas are friendly and knowledgeable they answered my questions on food and beverage allergies with confidence. I would recommend this coffee shop with certainty. I've brought friends from all walks of life to the red swing and they have enjoyed it everytime. I got a vanilla pumpkin cream cold brew in October and my barista filled it up so high! It was an amazing cold foam and superior to any I had gotten at a Starbucks. They answer your questions and are considerate and bring everything out promptly. The menu has cute old music references like chuck and Cindy. I always get their maker latte 20 0z with lavender and I'm never disappointed. The owner is passionate about the product he puts out and loved by his community and employees. At the red swing you get more than just a photo ready experience but a warm, kind passion-filled beverage with happy baristas and an environment rivaling other coffee...
