Rich's Famous Burgers-Owensville — Restaurant in Owensville

So food is excellent service during dining service is what to be expected good. The problem we have seen is when we do a call in order to go. Personally I have tried to get fish for my father-in-law twice to go and both times the orders were messed up. Last time he wanted four fish fillets and order of fries, went to pick it up, and I had one fillet and a order of fries. Inform the young lady up front that it was wrong showed the receipt what I needed and what was ordered. 2nd attempt I got two more fillets. Third attempt they finally got the fourth filet. Time before that I ordered the all you can eat catfish with hush puppies fries and coleslaw. Pay the extra $2 for both sides and when I went to pick it up only had coleslaw no fries. They were able to remedy this on their first attempt. Eating in the restaurant was a good experience we ate on a Friday and two of us had the all you can eat catfish and two of us ordered off the menu. Food tastes good. It seems that the front of the house needs more training and the back of the house seems like they having problems reading orders. There is a definite disconnect between the two. When you call on their phone line it is extremely staticy. I have called from the phone at work regular landline, My cell phone, wife's cell phone, and the boys cell phone all of them are staticy. Would love to see them stay here permanently they have excellent food. If they can fix the staticy phone lines and fix the disconnect between the front of the house and the back of the house I think they...

Honestly the food is okay, nothing really ground breaking about them. I had multiple different styles just to see if it was a one off, but several of them seemed to have a lack of flavor. Fries were decent but they were fries, so.

The service from the staff was very lacking multiple times we were there, especially when it was slower, maybe 3 or 4 other tables. The last time we were in there it took nearly an hour to get our food (1 of 4 tables) and we never received a refill on our drinks. Our waitress was only seen to bring our food and take our order. We had to ask for the check from someone passing through. Waited at the hostess table for a while, even while we were eating a few other groups had came in and had to search for someone to be seated. Tables sat for significant amount of time needing to be bussed. The child's seat had bolts falling out and a patron had to fix it for a family to sit there child.

This was the worst visit to Rich's I have ever had. We were seated right away. The waitress was extremely slow. We had a table of 4, and when she brought our drinks, she carried 3 of them up against her hoodie, which laid on the top of the cups. She took our order and it probably took 45 minutes or more to get our food. It was not busy at this time. My food was cold, I didn't say anything because it had already taken so long. We were missing some of the food. We told her, she said oh sorry, brought drink refills and we never seen her again. We were there about 2 hours. We wanted dessert. I finally had to ask another waitress to get ours so we could go. When she came to the table to bring the tickets she just said I didn't charge you for the fries, that was the missing food. She quickly dropped the tickets and walked off. She was young and probably new but it was not busy enough for that...
