Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Oxnard

I've been coming to this Jersey Mike's location for a few years now and this review is way overdue. I do have to say that everyone who works here is extremely friendly they are kind, hard workers, show hospitality, and have a lot of patience. Let's face it dealing with people's personalities is challenging especially nowadays after this whole pandemic I feel like we lost our social skills so they have a lot of patience and I give the employees credit. I like how the chips are displayed right by the ordering window makes it easier for you to select your chips.The lobby is always clean there's hand sanitizer there's easy pickup online orders and my favorite sandwich is a mini number seven =turkey and provolone. I get that Mike's way with a little bit of the chili relish sauce and extra pickles. I suggest you sign up for Mike's points you accumulate points and then you end up getting free subs free chips etc sign up on their app and login your birthday on your birthday you get a free sub or chips there's definitely perks. ✨DON’T COME to this location if you want to have an easy in-and-out experience, you might spend an unnecessarily long time.✨ I usually don’t do rating but I think this is necessary, I come to this location but after this experience I think I am going to spend my money in another location. I went in today(12/27/24) at about 6:30 pm. I put my order in for 3 regular and 1 giant sandwhiches and the guy making the sandwich seemed like he was over it, I asked him multiple times to make my sandwiches the mikes way but he seemed to ignored me and kept asking me if I wanted each individual item on my sandwich. I could see why people are saying they are incapable of effectively making multiple sandwiches and take forever to make one. I asked for the vinaigrette, oil and the herb (the mikes way) but he just so wanted me to know the correct names for each items “do you mean the vinegar and the oregano” this wouldn’t have been an issue if he would have just followed simple instructions from the beginning. I got there about 8:20pm on 4/21/23 , tonight…. There were no adults supervising these children working They took about 30 mins to make my order and 3 other people . They laughed and giggled . When we asked what was going on They over cooked our Big Kahuna The female cooking the beef skirt doesn’t know how to sauté the vegetables . My meat was on the griddle for 10 mins ! Over cooked and I asked for her to replace all of it . She got upset . The only person that did their job was the boy that was using the meat and cheese slicer !
