Mik's Pizza — Restaurant in Oxnard

We tried Mik's after a day of outdoor activities in Ventura. It was amazing and the woman who took our order/gave us our food was the sweetest person ever!!

Having never been to Mik's before, we did not know the hours, we called 25/30min before they closed with a large order, they were super super sweet!! I called back 10min later to add an item & STILL super sweet(I promise it wasn't a test of their patience, I am just forgetful)

We plan to make this a regular stop when out in Ventura!!

We ordered.... XL meat XL Deluxe XL half cheese/half sausage & garlic Calzone-sausage mush & garlic Meat calzone Pepperoni rolls Cheese sticks(ex garlic) Garlic bread with cheese(&extra garlic) Our total was ~140ish which gave us dinner & lunch the next day.

We loved it all!!! It's not always easy to find a place, on the go, that offers something for all 7 people in my household, Mik's fits that bill-without breaking the bank!! &we still cannot figure out our favorites....personally I will order another calzone next time, for sure!! The kids are split on pizza/cheese sticks, pepperoni rolls, garlic bread, & one calzone vote.

You can tell their dough is made with a multi-day process to develop flavor and texture, not just thrown together. The sauce is amazing, premium toppings, all the elements for an amazing pizza!!!

I will also note that I have lived all over from Chicago, NY, TX, & everywhere in between.....so I know pizza.

This is a good pie, its not a Chicago deep dish or cracker crust, it is not a foldable NY pie, but a good standard Italian pizza-the kind you may get in Little...

Delivery guy came, Miguel. At the front door he realized the pizza i ordered had olives when I ordered without. He opplogized that they messed up the order and insisted he can get me another one within 30min. So is said ok. Then he gave me the pizza that was wrong and said I can have it while while he goes back to get another one w/o olives. He told me since I ordered thru GrubHub and directly thru them, the order doesn’t always translated accurately. Miguel was very nice and professional in trying his best to please the customer. Oh yeah, he even gave us extra treats (a cheese cake pie and chocolate mousse cake). I give this guy 5 thumbs up! And the pizza...

Food is delicious and made fast. I ordered online through their easy to navigate web site and the food was ready as soon as I walked in the door. Before I even left the parking lot they called me to say they forgot a menial topping that I never would have noticed and said that they would make me a whole new pizza to redeem at any time.
