After years of driving on I-10 between Louisiana and West Coast, I recently discovered this little gem that is Ozona Donuts. A family owned shop with the best coffee and homemade breakfast selection to get you ready for a new day on the road. I’ve tried a really big sausage, egg and cheese croissant (the egg being a whole fried egg and not that yellowish thing you find usually at any fast-food), a tasty pig in a blanket (a little small, but for $1.50 worth the price), the best apple fritter I’ve ever had (and a huge one), a fresh cinnamon sugar donut and the best coffee with free refill you can get somewhere on I-10 any morning.
