We ate here once for dinner and it was fine, we had no issues with our meal. Portions were very filling.
Our issue lies with the girl working the bakery (1/14). There were 2 ladies in front of us at the ice cream counter. No one else in the store. We stood behind them in line for ice cream and while in line groups of people came in and stood in front of the bakery case.
The girl working finished up with the 2 ladies in front of us and then turned to us and said “give me a minute” and proceeded to help someone at the bakery case who came in after us. We were okay with that and assumed she would be back to help us after.
Only instead of coming back to us (the ones first in line before any of these other groups came into the store) she proceeded to turn to us again and say “give me a little bit” then proceeded to help the next person in line. This went on for 4 groups!! Continually being told “wait a little bit more” while helping out the growing line of people coming in 10 minutes after we were already first in line waiting.
I understand if there seems to be 2 lines and you go back and forth between both lines but if we were the only people there in line before anyone else came in I’m not sure why she wouldn’t help us and then continue with the line.
It was extremely rude and after the 4th group she helped and 4th time being told “wait another minute” just to help new customers in and not the waiting ones we just left. We have never had an experience like this before and were taken aback. Not a great...
Read moreIf you don't mind a messy burger, head to Seven Brothers. My sister has been raving about these burgers and their fries, so we made it one of our stops for her birthday "food crawl".
A burger is already messy to eat - now imagine splitting two different burgers amongst five people? It was a challenge, but we did it! We had the Paniolo (Giant homemade onion rings, grilled pineapple, bacon, and American cheese all covered in BBQ and house sauce) and The Shem Burger (Homemade guacamole made with fresh avocado and diced tomatoes, freshly squeezed lemon juice, two strips of bacon, and melted American cheese). Both were great and flavorful. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple but I just don't like cooked fruit in general. The worst was when I bit into what I thought was a potato, but it was actually a pineapple. The giant onion ring was probably my favorite part of the meal. It was SUPER crispy. Everyone loved the fries, but they were not for me. It was a bit too soggy and I don't love potato skins on fries. They were unique though, I'll give them that - they're more like thick homemade chips.
There is a huge nearby parking lot. There's also outdoor seating but probably only one table that had shade, so it got HOT out there. I'd recommend grabbing the burger to go and eating in the comfort of your air-conditioned car. Just make sure you grab...
Read moreGood inexpensive food! I enjoyed the teri burger and salad. I also ordered the paniolo burger. I was hoping for a big pineapple slice in the burger but was a bit disappointed, of course the burger was awesome though! I was drawn to this burger because of the pineapple. Lol. The fries, which is pretty awesome and guess what? it's not French fries! Potato wedges with not too salty and just right crunch and seasonings! Get those fries yo!
Service was fast and friendly helpful staff too. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good burger on Kahuku side. It's hidden behind the gas station. There is enough space to sit down and enjoy your food. Either alone or with a group. They have vegetarian options. Bathroom available down the stairs on the right. Debit and credit are accepted, you can either use their system to tip or to using cash. All you can drink available, so get that $2.25 drink or byod. New burger available; Rami burger. Didn't try it but from the lips of the staff, it's pretty darn good! So order it and let us know how it goes.
I didn't wait too long for my food to be delivered, maybe about 6 mins, we had several people in front of us but we didn't wait too long. You can enjoy your food while sitting outside or inside. Thanks for the good meal!...
