Pacifica is the place my mom loves the most. I took her while the waves were so high. We have never eaten at this cafe. It is a small cafe off the road before going out to the pier. They sell food...coffee...bagels and bagel sandwiches...soup...clam chowder and snacks like chips and candy. My mom and I shared a pulled pork sandwich and a bowl of clam chowder. The food was just ok. The bread roll was crispy how I love it...but the meat was nothing to brag about. The clam chowder was for sure watered down. I make clam chowder a lot and this tasted like Campbell's in a can. There certainly was not much clam flavor nor chunks of clam. The staff was so friendly and helpful...wonderful people. There is a sign that they have great coffee...but I never tried that. I brought water. They have seats inside the restaurant to sit and watch the waves. The other food could be good...I cannot say...I just was not like wow...I would love to eat here again. If you are at the pier at Pacifica looking for some coffee...hot chocolate or a snack this place might be for you.

Oceanview cafe with hot coffee, espresso drinks, bagels, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Live music on weekends and weekdays, featuring classic guitar and sax tunes. Friendly staff and high-quality coffee drinks. Sublime ocean views and comfortable seating. Every Sunday is “Mimosa Sunday”! Chit-Chat Cafe offers a cozy, quirky, and local experience by the beach. Whether you’re sipping coffee while watching the waves or enjoying live music, this cafe has something special to offer. Don’t miss their fresh bagels and locally famous clam chowder! 🌊🎶☕

The food rating is only for their espresso-based drink. This is a good local coffee shop with several good smelling food options, but below average coffee. I didn't get to try their food so I might come back for that. But for espresso, they pre-grounded their coffee ahead of time. Maybe they compensated this by providing a lower price for their espresso-based drinks (i.e., $4 for a small latte) The atmosphere is very cozy with a bunch of comfortable lounge chairs.

Good local spot to have a cup of coffee and listen to live music, work on your laptop, read a book, or just relax. One of my favorite spots, but I can't give it 5 starts for two reasons.

My daughter has described the service here to be rude, and my husband has complained that they are too slow. I personally have found the service to be mixed. Most of the time the baristas are friendly, but there have been times they do seem a bit pre-occupied and indifferent and they take their time before acknowledging they have a customer waiting.

I once tried to order a sandwich with gluten free bread. When I picked up the sandwich, it appeared to be made with marble rye, which is not gluten free. I asked if the bread was actually gluten free, and was told no, that the person making the sandwich didn't know it was supposed to be gluten free, and they asked if they could just replace the bread instead of remaking the sandwich. After that encounter I decided to stick with just...

Cute location, employees nice, prices soso food solid 5 coffee 3 outta 10 made my friend vomit, owners wife very nice, son a real gentleman, nevertheless the owner Complete Douche! rude and disrespectful constantly changing password on wifi and doing weird things, makes me uncomfortable, spent $37 not including tip the 7 in the tip jar the first day there, never came back after rude encounter with owner. Prime spot terrible waste. Other than keeping the local Bars in business paying for over priced liquor as a customer nothing nice to say about this non~Californian gentrification pushing Minimum wage paying opportunist, a poor excuse for a business owner, please go back to wherever you came from thanks but no thanks Kick Rocks with Open toe sandals all the way back to...
