Happy's Chili Parlor — Restaurant in Paducah

I'm from New Orleans and im a foodie. Every where i travel i taste the food of small neighborhood establishments( where the best food usually is)and with Happys I can't complain one bit! The food was phenomenal! The prices were great on the wallet. The service was quick! Very friendly crowd and very welcoming.

Ordered: rib tips: tender, Smoky, seasoned well and bbq sauce was delicious. I had enough tips to eat twice!

Greens: not salty like many places. Seasoning was a great balance.

Happy burger: OMG! THIS WAS HUGE. it was a HOMEMADE patty juicy and full of flavor. It was so big the meat was hanging off the bun. What more do i need to say?!

Fries: crinkled cut with some popping seasoning. I loved them!

Chilli: literally the best Chilli I've eaten in a while. I love the texture no gigantic clumps of meat , great seasoned and delicious.

I couldn't leave this review last night due to a burger-coma.

A local spot with history. Three generations of it. The current generation has traveled an interesting road and has some additional restaurant cred outside of just this spot. I won't go into it - find out for yourself if you care to drop in. On to the important stuff.

Despite being a God-fearing man, he's cooking up some evil things on the flat-top. The Happy Burger, I use that term burger loosely, was less burger and more a tender, hamburger/Salisbury steak on a bun that wasn't really made to accommodate it. The only thing that I might have added had I had any was a splash of A1.

I had to go in from the sides with a fork first. The mac-n-cheese choice side, I think baked, was simple, basic, and good...

So I ordered a pork chop sandwich,collard greens , chili cheese fries and Mac and cheese let me start with I ordered from door dash now let’s get to the food it was sub par at best the collard green were ice cold like they took them out of the refrigerator and threw them in a bowl the rest of the food was warm to be expected when ordering delivery the pork chop sandwich I ordered never showed up they sent me crock pot pulled pork instead without telling me the Mac and cheese noodles were over cooked and bland the chili cheese fries stated on the menu the fries were spicy and covered ind chili and cheese that was not the case the fries had absolutely zero seasoning and the chili was sub par at best I would not recommend this place...
