You might as well close your lobby. I went in there tonight because the drive through line was so long, and I was in a time crunch. There was no cashier at the register. That seems to be typical for all the Mc Donald's I've been to over the last couple of years. When someone finally did come and take my order, they got part of it wrong, but, since they didn't charge me for what I had asked for, I let it go. To his credit, he did realize that he'd made a mistake and apologized. While I went to get the drinks, the guy that took my order went over to bag some orders. Then he got sent off to get some supplies. Another guy didn't seem to know what he was supposed to be doing. He asked the next customer if their order had been taken yet and said he would go find someone to take it. Everyone else seemed to be busy cooking or filling the drive through orders and none of them could be bothered to take the order of another walk in customer or fill my order (It took 10 minutes to get my order.). It seems like the drive through and Door Dash orders take precedence over the people who took the time to park and walk inside. I would suggest that you have at least one person devoted to taking and filling the orders of the walk in customers. Their whole responsibility should be taking care of the front line and the customers at the counter. Your customer service is...
Read moreI understand what it's like to work in fast food or with the public. I recently visited the Jackson St. McDonald's last week. As I entered the store a gentleman at the counter was shaking his head back and forth as if he was disgusted about something. He immediately just left appearing unhappy.
When it was my turn to order the short gray haired lady who identified herself as "P@VL@" with a manager's shirt on was impolite when asking for my order. I explained that I wanted to use the remaining balance on a prepaid Visa and the rest in cash. She said to slide the card and it was declined. I asked her to enter the amount left on the card to tender on her register thinking that may resolve the issue. She said "no I won't do that"....and in a very hateful tone she said "give me you five!" I was holding the five in my left hand with the Visa in my right. I was appalled by her tone and treatment I walked away and headed out the door. She sarcastically said as I was walking "Oh, well thank you! Ma'am!" Not a very nice way to treat a very loyal customer who pays her salary. Also, being called ma'am was an extremely homophobic slam to me. I'm going to contact the local management office and see what resolution they may offer. I will not shop at the Jackson St. McDonald's anymore. Very rude staff, poor management, slow service,...
Read moreDropped in about 10:30 am the other day and no one in lobby so they were not busy inside. 4 staff were busy prepping food for the drive through. Although they were only feet away, no one acknowledged our presence and offered "I'll be right with you ". We stood for about 2 minutes when one of them came to the register and i thought it was to take our order. I even said good morning, but no response and they turned and walked back to the prep area. My eyebrows were now raised, and i looked at my companion and she at me. I the said in a funny voice, "hellooo" hoping to get some attention. Nothing. I repeated it a little louder... Nothing. I then did an air gesture as if i was ringing the counter bell and said, ding ding ding... at this point the shift lead responded angerly and told me just how rude that was, couldn't i see they were busy. She was visually upset and continued by telling me she had never.... and that because i had been so rude they should refuse me service. At this point i did them a...
