It's not an eat-in place, as an FYI. They are a hustle & bustle, run in, grab your donuts, a drink & off ya go kind of place. They ARE top-of-the-line for donuts. They truly set the bar for donuts. A local joint, they've been here for many years. Though the original owner no longer runs the place, the family members do (or did my last info). The recipe for their regular & chocolate covered donuts is the best I've ever had & not one chain donut shop will ever compare. These simply melt in your mouth. I almost always will grab a bag of donut holes & a milk. They never disappoint. I live just over an hour away, but don't miss a chance to stop by when I have early appointments in Paducah. The original owner had one in Mayfield for a few years, then sold to a family member as well. Sadly, the 2021 tornado took it & to my knowledge, it's...

I travel the USA for work and always try to make it a priority to see if the area I’m in has a ma and pop donut shop.

I struck 24K GOLD with Red’s. IMO they’re the best donuts in the United States of America that I’ve tried so far. There is only one other shop I’ve been to that can be in the same conversation with them. I could go on and on and on about Red’s. Perfect donut shop vibe, nice friendly ladies working there. Plenty of milk to buy with a donut, coffee, everything.

Prices are also what you’d expect. Nothing crazy. I wish I could give them 10 stars instead of 5. Another plus about Red’s is they don’t close at noon or 1pm etc etc. They stay open til 6 - you don’t see that with many donut shops. I sure hope I get another assignment in Paducah or anywhere within an hour or so...

The best donuts around. We live in Sikeston, Missouri. In Sikeston there is a Donut shop called Houchins' Donuts. In their hey day they were the best around, but now they are owned by different owners than the original ones. They lack flavor and texture. They are no better than cold ones from Walmart. Red's Donuts are just plain AMAZING. And for the price of a dozen donuts, they are a lot cheaper, However A WHOLE LOT BETTER QUALITY . THE STAFF THERE ARE VERY FRIENDLY AS WELL. We were visiting my sister n law at Paducah Baptist hospital and we always stop at Red's Donut shop and buy donuts. This trip we even bought a dozen of specialty donuts for the nurses. If you are in Paducah and see Red's Donut shop, don't pass by, STOP IN AND BUY SOME. THERE IS A REASON THEY ARE THE 2018...

This place has consistently been making some of the best donuts in the known universe longer than I've been alive. Their chocolate yeast donut is a literal taste of my childhood, and one of few that hasn't changed in any way since then. The lady behind the counter was so sweet, and she took less than two minutes to serve me and get the check paid! All their donuts are so soft you probably don't even need teeth to eat them, even the cake donuts, and the filled ones are just as good! Help wanted sign on the door too, and trust me, it would be valuable experience for anyone!

We saw what you posted on Facebook. A lot of people don’t just want to work. They have to in order to survive. So don’t say “This Generation don’t want to work” Without taking into consideration the fact your state’s minimum wage is $7.25 an hour, a wage set in place 13 years ago. People aren’t going to want to work somewhere that pays them the bare minimum by law when they can get paid better somewhere else. The economy is getting worse and old people in denial of it do nothing but make the world worse.

Holy moly. I’ve eaten a lot of donuts in my life. This was probably the best donut, ever. The plain glazed was soft and buttery and not dense at all. I wish I would have taken a picture but unfortunately, all I can offer you is this picture of my empty bag. I don’t live in Paducah but I come a few times a year. I now have another place to look forward to visiting when I’m here!
