La Hacienda III Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Palatka

Today is my birthday so I wanted to pick up a little food treat for me and my good friend, So sorry we picked this place☹️👎WORST FOOD we ever had and trust us, we have had a lot of food :(

The beans are VERY SALTY. The rice is only so so and the cheese enchiladas, TERRIBLE ☹️👎we don't know what in the world this is, but we have NEVER had cheese enchiladas with WHITE SALTY TASTING CHEESE in them. It's usually yellow of some kind, and to get 3 of them with rice and beans for $15 and some cents is RIDICULOUS. This is OVERPRICED GARBAGE ☹️👎we will NEVER, go back to this place ☹️👎

The place was fairly full and obviously they couldn't stay in business this long, If many people didn't like the food?

Maybe because we are caucasian our taste buds are different. I did notice that most of the people eating there appeared to be of Hispanic or Mexican or I'm not sure what the proper word is nowadays, with all the sensitivity towards that, but it must be something like that, because when you scroll through all these reviews, most of them appear to be fairly positive. We don't know why, we CAN'T UNDERSTAND it. We feel SICK right now and are on the verge of VOMITING ☹️👎

We only hope we didn't get FOOD POISONING from this...

Newest Review Hector and family continue to make themselves the premier Mexican restaurant in Palatka! Dare I say all of Florida! The decor and quality of food is amazing. I'm in love with Brocheta and Quesabirria. You owe it to yourself to enjoy this family oriented amazing Mexican dining experience. We love them as family and it'll be a sad day when they retire. Previous Review Been eating here for years. It's my favorite Mexican restaurant for counties around. The food is exceptional. Hector, and what I would assume is his wife is always grateful and happy. Never had a single complaint about this place, only that the food is so good and it's not good for the waist line LoL. The machaca is my favorite lunch dish and brocheta is my favorite dinner dish. This is the best Mexican food in the Palatka area, better than Chili's and better than Mariachiles. It might not be five star in Houston or Chicago, but it's definitely five star for Palatka. Everything we've had here has been first rate. The chips and salsa were great and the chips were warm. The drinks tasted really good. They're just doing everything right. It's not an upscale looking place, but who wants to eat Mexican food in an upscale place?

We had the burrito al pastor and the brocheta, which is basically like fajitas cooked with a lot of melted cheese. I got the shrimp and chicken combo.
