Save A Lot — Local services in Palatka

I was bothered when I had to pay a quarter to get a shopping cart even though you get it back when you're finished shopping it was an inconvenience because I seldom have any loose change in my pocket. Luckily one of the clerks saw me, came over and loan me a quarter which I return to her afterwards. It just seems like an odd way to run a store. In addition there are two doors to the front of the store and one has been closed for almost a year now. It surprises me that the fire Marshall allows that. That too is an inconvenience when you park your one door and have to walk all the way down to the other.

Today I went in to buy baby food and had to use the restroom. Typically my visits are OK, besides the long lines and lack of employees present. I walked into the restroom and it was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my life. There was poop on the floor. A used maxi pad lying open in the handicap sink. Dirty toilet paper and paper towels on the floor. I took pics, I wish I had the option of posting them. I couldn't even breathe. I informed the manager that the bathroom was trashed, he rolled his eyes like a five year old and asked, "trashed how?"... Needless to say I will be shopping else where from now on. Thank god I didn't have my children with me. I will be sending the pictures I have over to a local inspector. Good luck with future business, you've lost mine...

DONT LISTEN TO THE OTHER PAID REVIEWS THIS PLACE IS BAD. WOULD RATHER DEAL WITH WALMART AND THAT IS SAYING ALOT. I hate coming here to shop, the prices are good and the layout of the store is easy but most of the employees are rude, and they constantly have issues with the registers. today I went in for a single bottle of juice got in a line with only 1 person in it. Stood in line for just over 40 minutes before I just walked out without purchasing my goods. In the time I was standing there I watched a lady ask an employee to help her get a cart because the quarter wasnt working. She told another customer to help her, then continued to sit there and do absolutely nothing. Worst shopping expiriences I've ever dealt with have been at this store and I've only lived in palatka...
