While driving through Palatka FL for only our second time ever on June 12, 2018, I Googled for Burger King and stopped and ate at BK #6792 (3305 Crill Ave). We chose it over other places we'd passed solely because of its really nice looking new design appearance. While there we saw for our first time a new style digital-age Coke brand dispensers similar in looks to what we're used to seeing everywhere for self service soda dispensers. Although they were similar in looks they're digital-age improvements over those large stand-alone refrigerator sized dispensers that cause long lines in stores that offer Coke branded sodas, you know the ones I mean, the ones that are forever causing delays and cussing and gripes and complaints and lost customers because of kids and adults filling cups or their entire family's cups with spur-of-the-moment custom blends of 32 flavors, or because they're simply unavailable during your visit because employees have it's door open trying to figure out what's wrong, purging lines, changing inkjet type syrup cartridges, and doing other mysterious things to the one and only dispenser while customers wait. That said, Beware Parents and Grandparents! and everyone visiting this store with diaper age children. During our visit we duscovered that neither of the restrooms at this BK had changing stations. The reason for that statement is because we were traveling with our toddler age grandson and he needed a diaper change. Seeing the nice looks of this BK we thought for sure they'd have a changing station. Nope. Neither of the restrooms had one (we verified by asked the manager). Regarding the store. The food was really good, and everything looked really clean except for the trashed up dirty highchairs and the dirty mouth of a woman sitting within earshot of our table. Because we always carry a supply of wetwipes the highchair cleanup wasn't much of an issue; as for the foul mouth woman, her callous disregard of manners has become more common than...
Read moreHonestly one of the worst Burger King's I have ever been to! The manager Ashely is rude and unprofessional. She disrespects her staff openly where customers can hear. I have been to this Burger King multiple times and will not be going back after my last experience there. I decided to take my family and children to Burger King before we went to the park. I ordered the Kings meal deal my family( I usually order this every time I come, at least once a week) apparently they had changed the meal deal and failed to let people know. I was charged a dollar extra per sandwich. Which may not seem like a lot but it was 5 sandwiches. When I noticed I was charged extra I went up to the counter and asked why. They became very rude with me and my family. They told me I can either return the food or drop it. My kids were already eating so of course I didn't want to take it away. I decided to go out to the play area and just eat the cost. At this time another Manager named tekilla and Ashelly both walk back and asked us to leave. I said ok but wanted to know why. Ashely became loud and said she didn't have to give us a reason we just had to get out or she called the police. I Asked for a refund because I wasn't allowed to eat and she refused to give me one. They kicked us out of the restaurant without reason as we were leaving my disabled mother got her foot stuck in the door( forcefully pushing her out the door)when she tried to help her get her foot out tekilla became extremely angry and threatening us. I was Assaulted while holding my two-year-old. My father was assaulted holding my one year-old. Police were called and we will be pressing charges. I am very disappointed in Burger King's behavior and the emotional distress they have caused on my children. Not only did this ordeal happened but they allowed the said Manager that assaulted my family to continue her day and come back to work the next day. It wasn't until after I told him I would be pressing charges that they...
Read moreThey have basically stolen $12 from me. I placed an order on the app on 5/12 around 11pm. The whole order was $12.60. I go to pick it up and the drive through tells me they are out of one of the items I ordered. They try to offer me a substitute that I didn't want. I asked them to just take that item off my receipt. She said she couldn't do that. I would have to get a refund from the app. So I tell her just to keep the whole order and I'll get a refund. It's 2 days later, 5/14, and I have yet been able to even talk to a person about this. When I try the app, the chat bot just says my account has been suspended and gives a number to call. I call the number and it's just options for franchisees, employees, and gift cards, nothing about refunds. I try the website and it's just the same chat bot that's in the app. I found an email address on Google and sent it an email and no one has answered it. I did find a form on the website but it just asks for your name and phone and says "we'll have someone contact you". No one has contacted me. I want my $12 back, burger King. Are you that hard up for cash you have to steal $12 here and there from people? I don't understand why the store can't edit their own orders and remove an item they don't have? Or why can't they just give me a refund out of the register and take it up with their owner or corporate when the register comes up short? Tell them they did the right thing for a customer. What the heck is...
