Antonio, the owner of Pronto really knows and provides great customer service. I went through the drive-thru for the first time about a year ago. He helped me at the window. I asked him what he recommended and he said, “Let me make you a gyro. You’ll love it.” He was right. It was excellent. So I was excited to return for lunch a week later. A nice young lady helped me at the window. I ordered the same gyro. I was disappointed that it wasn’t as good as the first one but then I completely lost my appetite when I came across a long black hair in the middle of the sandwich. Even though that first gyro was truly the best I’ve ever had and I’ve even eaten them in Greece, I didn’t go back. A year passed and I got to thinking about how tasty that first gyro was so I decided to go there and ask for Antonio to help me. I told him straight out about my experience. He politely said, “You just wait here a second.” A couple minutes later he brought me a gyro with extra meat and fries. When I tried to pay him for it he wouldn’t let me. He just said, “I am very sorry you had the bad experience. Please come back.” I have been back and will make it a regular stop as I am in Palestine several times a month. You know everybody makes mistakes. And they are usually not intentional. It’s the way they are handled that shows true character. In this case excellent customer service character on the part of Pronto. Five star food, five star service and a five star owner who really knows how to...
Read moreHave been a faithful customer for some time, even when they were in the old Pizza Hut building hadn’t ate there for while now but have an experience that really disappointed me and my family. My wife brought home takeout and found that there was hair in 2 of gyro sandwiches we had. My daughter was the first to have hair in her’s then I found the same thing in my sandwich. My wife called back to complain about the situation and owner cook or who ever he was stated that there were “no refund “. I then got on the phone and told cook or owner that it was very unsanitary and was disgusted with the results. He then offered to remake our food and I strongly stated that I wanted a refund and food would be brought back. So after driving 19 miles back to the location my wife seen that they had a hand written paper on the menu that stated no refund she then told the owner that I was here not even 20 mins ago that sign was not there. He then tried to argue about the situation. I had told him , I didn’t want anything that they had no need to remake nothing just refund money and clearly he could see that the evidence was there. I also stressed that him that we were not tried to sabotage his business and did not have to lie about it cause the evidence was clearly there when he open each container. So me and family will not be eating there ever. I would suggest that employees wear a hair net and gloves make sure that food properly check before...
Read moreThis place is FANTASTIC! I came here with friends after we came into town for a funeral, and everyone here (and the amazing food) did so much to turn a sad day into a great time. Everyone here are just naturally happy people and we left with overly full bellies and smiles.
The food is AMAZING and authentic. We all had something different off the menu and ended up dining family style, we couldn’t keep our forks off each others plates! The gyro, tortellini Alfredo, Stromboli, and schnitzel we got were all generous portions and so good; we’re planning on having a road trip in the future just to come back. This place is worth the drive and I wish we had one in Huntsville!
So as full as I was, I was NOT leaving without trying the TIRAMISU after a meal like that. I’m so glad I did, because it’s the owners 150 year old family recipe and good mercy, it was easily the best I’ve ever had and as sweet as the place that made it.
10/10 I’d road trip here again.
Thank you again to the owner and staff for putting the smiles back on our faces that day. You have a gem...
