Tortilleria La Mia — Restaurant in Palestine

When I walked in their restaurant. I felt like home. I'm Mexican American as well. I came from West Texas. I was hoping there are Mexican food in Palestine,Texas. And there are! So when I showed them my note I typed down. Due to my deafness. This is how I communicate. I showed my order I requested. They worked with me well. Got the food done so fast. It's SO FRESH AND WELL COOKED! I was melting down the burrito egg bacon n potatoes. I ordered me one stewmeat with bean. I'm dying to wolf in! My stomach felt warm and comforting. I felt like I'm still home anywhere. This is a good excellent restaurant to go to. They are home body base food from the scatrch. You can taste it. Not frozen or fake. They are REAL HOME FOOD! First time going there . And it will be my last too . For one can drink 3 dollars I guess they think it's gold almost 20 dollars for 2 burritos and a pack of tortillas and another 18.94 for 3 can sodas chips and Mexican candy I mean what are they selling you can practically get 2 bottle sodas for almost 3 dollars just a little pas 3 dollars . It's like they rob you blind hell I could have gotten 10 dollars of pork shoulder and big soda bottle a packet of tortillas at El super Gallo in Jacksonville for half that price that I paid there ANOTHER thing please clean your ceiling tiles . That grease and dust can fall on the food and the masa . It doesn't take that long to clean it ESPEC6 when y'all closed for the day ..... Total for all that 37 dollars and some cents .. hwy robbery...

Some of the best Mexican food I've had in a while.

This restaurant even had homemade Menudo, has some of the best flavor of any I've had. I even ordered two large one's to take back to Georgia!!!
