Some of the best tacos around....next closest place is in Felsemere. Go for the traditional Street Tacos vs the Supreme...that way you get to experience more of the flavor of the meat, with just a little lime, onion, and cilantro. My favorite is the Carne Asada...grilled steak, but all of them are really tasty. Another favorite is the Chorizo taco...a little more greasy, but very delicious. Try one of the platters which are also a great deal with beans and rice, a good amount of taco meat, and as many tortillas as you need. Speaking of the tortillas, Leticia and her husband make them from scratch on the premises. Then wash it all down with a Mexican beer, soda, or fruit drink...tamarind is my favorite here. They also have coke. And for dessert, have one of the palettas (ice cream on a stick)...my favorites are the coconut and the pecan flavors. Swing by for a tasty snack or a full meal...either way, it's authentic, and...
Read moreI've eaten take out from here maybe 5 times. My only con is the cost. I am not a huge eater but honestly 1 or 2 street tacos don't cut it, I need at least 3. Their very small and super delish. I always get the shrimp tacos. I think the last time I ordered I ended up spending almost $15. I feel these would be more reasonable at $3-3.50 a taco but of course I don't know their overhead cost. I've also had their burrito and asked if they could make it with fried fish which this option for a burrito is not on the menu which it should be because it was delicious. If it weren't for the cost I'd give it a 5 star. The only thing locally I have to compare it too is shrimp fajitas from another local Mexican joint where I can get about 6-7 tacos out of that for the same cost. And theirs sides. But I do think it's worth trying and eating there because it...
Read moreHad an incredible meal that started with their tacos, which were a feast not only for the taste buds but also for the eyes. The tacos were generously topped with fresh cilantro, onions, and radish slices, making every bite crunchy and flavorful. The side of black beans was rich and creamy, topped with a sprinkle of cheese that added a nice touch of saltiness.
The rice was perfectly cooked, with each grain distinct and infused with a tomatoey goodness that paired beautifully with the rest of the meal. The presentation of the dish was simple yet appetizing, making the overall dining experience very enjoyable. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine!
