Originally just put a rating (5 stars, no question!) because Google asked for one, but now that I see someone reads all the reviews (Linda?) I feel like I owe them a little more.
First off, this is the Emily who comes in to one of the two Palm Desert Jamba Juices and orders a Peanut Butter Moo'd, every day for the past ... lot of years. Since I graduated, so... almost 8 years? Not sure if you knew my last name, but hi!
The mall location is a bit more convenient for me during the summer, and I've been going there since long before this one opened, but I like to come to this one sometimes just for the staff (I love the mall staff too! Just like to say hi here when I can). The employees are always friendly and great at their jobs. When school starts, I might switch it up, because this one opens earlier AND stays open later! 6am to 9pm on weekdays, 7am to 9pm on weekends. Great option for breakfast for those who work all day, or a last chance at something sweet after a long day.
I couldn't live without the delicious smoothies! I've got my Dad on them too recently, and he was surprised at how good they are. He gets the Strawberry Surfrider, and he comments every time that it was "excellent."
Strongly recommend this Jamba Juice. I've been to Jambas all over the country, and in my opinion, none match up to the ones in Palm Desert for...
Read moreI have visited this Jamba several times and it has been a pleasant experience in the past till today. I ordered a large smoothie and added 2 scoops of whey protein which makes the smoothie fuller. The guy who made my smoothie filled the large cup and I asked him for the rest that was actually quite a bit left in the pitcher. He refused and said I only paid for a large not extra I told him I wasn't getting all the protein I needed and paid for. He said sorry and walked away. Which ended up bringing the "KAREN" out in me and I explained that I was going thru treatment for cancer (not that it was any of his business nor should a person have to explain why they wanted or needed something) and he was still resistant. We went back and forth before he finally grabbed another cup and filled that one with still another cup full still in the pitcher. I have never had an issue or even had to ask for the extra at other locations, as if it was coming out of his pocket for the extra cup to fill the smoothie I paid for. I was embarrassed and felt like it should not have even gotten to that point. Bottom line, you never know what someone is going through and to deny them of something that person knows is soo essential for their health is...
Read moreThe current staff needs to be trained better or they need to hire new employees. The other day I went ahead and ordered on their app for pick up and received this drink i was waiting off the the sidelines waiting for her to call out my name. One of the workers, a girl responded with "why are you just standing over there?" Then she scoffed and continued with "how was I supposed to know it was your order when you didn't say anything" I didn't respond because I felt embarrassed being that she said it out loud. I said thank you, no response was given back or to have a good day. It wasn't even filed up all the way without even drinking I knew it wasn't going to taste good. It looked super diluted. It wasn't even a smoothie. It didn't taste good whatsoever. With this Jamba Juice spot it's really a gamble your drink either tastes watered down or you have to encounter a rude/sarcastic worker. This isn't okay especially if you're spending...
