We love Las Casuelas! We were very excited to see an outlet coming to Palm Springs Airport, but sadly, we won’t be going back. It was busy when we were there. But the employees have no sense of urgency or service at all. They were standing around chatting with each other as customers were waiting to order or waiting for their food. The menu is kind of bizarre IMO. Potato tacos? For $23? Not for me. The chicken tacos we had contained very little chicken, but a wheelbarrow full of lettuce. The shells are tough as leather, while they are fried and should be crisp like they are at their restaurants. Salsa literally tastes like tomato sauce with a few bits of cilantro mixed in. Two margaritas, one 3-taco plate, chips & salsa (salsa pic attached), and $75 later it was an easy conclusion to not return. We are very sad about that!! This damages the reputation of the Casuelas brand, and the menu and service (i.e. employees) should be upgraded! The physical facility itself was pleasant, and the location great.

Outdoor airport eating and drinking place. Order cafeteria style, get a receipt, stand and wait for food (13 minutes for the quesadillas) take the food and your bags to the bar to pick up your drinks while pushing in between a bar where every seat is taken, then try to find a seat with your bags, plate and drink. I’d just say that they don’t know or act like their customers are people traveling in the airport. Also irritating was the 18% minimum tip encouraged while dealing with multiple inconveniences and inefficiencies. Oh, the food. Quesadillas were ok. Dripping grease. And no napkins available. It is a meal. Coachella beer on tap was good and colder than room temp. I think this place needs a system and some respect for its customers although with limited options they will sell their food regardless.

I am a fan of Las Casuelas restaurants, but this airport location is disgusting. Tables are filthy, the seats are stained, and the service is poor. I ordered a Mexican chopped salad with chicken, which took 45 minutes to prepare, and sat at the counter, because they couldn't find the associated order number to call. In terms of the food, the chicken was overcooked, and the salad consist of mostly of lettuce and onions.

Waited in line 10 minutes, ordered nachos and a draft beer off their menu. After paying they told me I had to pick up my beer at the bar next door? The problem was i specifically didn’t go to the bar next door because the line was huge! So then I had to go next door and wait another 15 minutes in their slow line just to pick up one beer, it was like a 30 minute wait overall for nachos and a drink. Why do they have items on the menu they don’t actually sell, that you have to go somewhere else in the airport...
