Service is terrible!!! I am talking about your location on 152nd Street and and 127th Avenue - Miami. Food takes forever to come out, the staff says nothing unless the patrons ask "where is my food?" My spouse and I went to First Watch for the first time! We sat at the bar, as we were told that was an option. We waited to be greeted, to order our food and refills on our drinks. A couple of ladies sat next to us, asked us about our thoughts of the food we recommend. I said "turkey biscuit with eggs and potatoes, first time I'm ordering but I hear it's good." To my surprise, she and her friend got their food before we did. We told the server/bartender to inquire about our foods. He said he would and at the same time he responded: "the kitchen is swamped." You would think he would take it upon himself to notify a manager or have someone come to us and say something to us. That never happened! This is how is all started. We put our names on the waitlist at 11:15am. The host told us it would be a 50 to 70 minutes wait! We came back an hour later and we were told to wait another 30 minutes. A customer offered us to sit at the bar as it was first come first serve we did. Never in my wildest dreams I imagined having breakfast would mean a three hour ordeal. When the food finally came, our meals were very good. Yet, we were never asked if we needed anything else. Personally, I believe the problem is Fist Watch needs more staff and managers on the floor to make sure things are moving smoothly. For now, I rather go somewhere else for breakfast. People wait in line hoping for a pleasant experience i.e. good food, service and...
Read moreThis was my first time going to First Watch and I went with my mom on a Tuesday morning around 9:30. We got seated right away and the service was just as good as the food. Our waiter Nick was super helpful, really attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.
The biscuits and gravy were amazing. The gravy was seasoned perfectly and creamy without being too heavy and the biscuit was cooked so well it just fell apart as soon as my fork touched it.
The lemon ricotta pancake was the best pancake I’ve ever had. It was fluffy, had the perfect tang from the lemon, and the ricotta made it so smooth. With the strawberries and that lemon cream on top it was next level.
The cheese crusted grits were rich and flavorful with that crispy cheesy top and the creamy inside that made every bite perfect.
The million dollar potatoes were unreal. The cream that comes with them was savory and balanced so well with the crispy potatoes and the bacon on top just set it all off.
And the candied bacon was incredible. Sweet, smoky, and crispy with just the right amount of stickiness.
Everything we ordered came out looking amazing and tasted even better. The vibe was chill, the food was unforgettable, and I’ll...

Try the lemon ricotta pancakes! You will not be disappointed, I assure you. The eggs are so flavorful and cooked so well that my fiancee was gloating about them even though she doesn't even go for eggs by themselves. The million dollar potatoes and bacon are so good, they'll have you wanting seconds, let alone how good the omelette variety and other yummy options were!
The service at this location is nothing sort of wonderful and very inviting. Sarah - the trainer in the management team - has put together an amazing team of staff members that make you feel so warm and welcoming while being really down to earth. Our waitress, Elizabeth, definitely deserves some serious Kudos and made the whole experience that much more memorable.
For having the privilege of experiencing this location just before it opens, I am excited to see how well it grows and I expect them to get...
