D's Breakfast & Burgers — Restaurant in Palmetto

I was pleasantly surprised when finding this adorable breakfast establishment. When you walk in, it is very welcoming and warm inside. The staff is extremely friendly, especially the owner D. She came to our table , introduced herself, and welcomed us to her restaurant. She made great suggestions for food options. She talked with many patrons while also attending to their needs by taking orders and cleaning tables to get those waiting seated faster, and those sitting served more efficiently.

I had the avocado omlette and my husband the meatlovers skillet. We usually have leftovers... but not today. 😀 The food was delivered in a timely manner, and it was hot......perfect! It was absolutely delicious and will be on our rotation for breakfast regularly going forward.

Prices are reasonable. There is plenty of indoor seating... but be warned it was busy, and we had a short wait. Highly suggest stopping in.

3/20/22 I love this spot! The staff is always so cordial and attentive. The food is always great. And the place is always packed! We luckily called ahead to reserve our spot on the wait list! Ordered the breakfast tacos. So much fun!

4/12/22 What can I say. We frequent this place a lot! The food is so delicious every time. The staff couldn't be any more friendly. It's a local favorite as it's always busy! I ordered the avocado omlette stuffed quesadilla. I was so full but ate every bite. It's amazing! My husband ordered a burger, and he had nothing but great things to say! This time, we had mimosas, too. Can't wait to return.

8/30/22, the meat skillet was so flavorful. How can every meal be so good here! My son ordered a burger with onion rings, and he devoured it. Our waitress is very sweet

5/23 it's been a while since we stopped in, and since my parents are visiting from out of town and love breakfast we have to show them all the best places to go to get their fix.

Since we've been here, they opened the attached cafe, which has smoothies, coffee options, and salads/sandwhiches/pastries. We didn't order here, but the space...

Stopped in here with a friend after yoga class for lunch. I wanted to see what the prices were like for breakfast, to see if it was a candidate to move our Monday morning Emmaus reunion group meeting to, instead of IHOP, who's now charging $4 for coffee!

I got the Cobb salad with the meat in a Togo box. I'm always curious to see what I get when I say that. You'd be surprised. Sometimes I just get the meat on the side, not in a Togo box. Once I got a totally deconstructed salad with every ingredient in its own little bowl (boy, they were a little paranoid about what constituted "meat"). They got it right here. They gave me a TON of turkey and some bacon in a small Styrofoam Togo box, which I took home to my husband. The salad itself was SMASHINGLY delicious! I practically licked the bowl.

I also ordered a side of fries to share with my friend, who also got a salad... And there was nothing left in her bowl, either. The fries were spot on! OMGosh, have you ever had fries that were just so good you couldn't stop eating them? Yup... That was these. They're the skin on medium skinny fries and they were salted perfectly (see photo). I definitely recommend this place.

We stopped at the little gift shop and bought some hand made essential oil products, too. My friend got some perfume and I got some dry oil and deodorant. Sniff...

I finally arrived at a place I’ve been wanting to go so coming through the doors the place was amazing down to the decor of the restaurant the style is very welcoming and homie. The place was filled but not over filled the staff was quick to greet and seat us everyone was welcoming and friendly. I’ma breakfast person it is the most important part of the day so eating the perfect breakfast is extremely important to me. The owner came over and took our orders and because I wanted specific things he was sure to find a way to make it happen and possible. I got the double up breakfast and instead of get two pieces of French toast I got one pancake and one French toast with a side order of grits which where absolutely amazing cooked just right not over cooked not under cooked just right. Everything was amazing absolutely amazing! I def would recommend this place to all friends and family including strangers There pricing is right not too much but just right. I’m listening to others conversations you could also hear how pleased they where with there food so YES this def is an amazing place. I will be back for new with more...
