I'm disabled and have a service dog to keep me safe/independent. One day there were two pet dogs in the store. One was jumping up (huge no for working dogs) and licking a table!!! I asked employees to ask them to leave, and they proceeded to treat me with such disrespect and hostility, it was almost unbelievable. A kid with long ish black hair who told me he is a manager blatantly lied, telling me Peet's policy is to let pets in. I told him it was against the law, and he said "we work here, I think we know our own policy". Shocked at his rude behavior, I showed him Peets' policy on their website (no pets, task-trained service dogs only, per federal and state laws and health codes). He then told me the pets come there daily (breaking multiple laws daily...the pet LICKED THE TABLE). I asked to speak to a manager and he said he was. I asked to speak to his manager and he held his arms out, smiled, and said "I'm the only one here". I asked for the phone number of his manager and he gave me a sticky note with a most likely bogus number because I haven't heard back. I will be following up with management and the department of Justice. Pets aren't trained not to be dogs around food. They also bark at my service dog, which can put me in danger by distracting her from focusing on my bloodstream or, worse, attack her (this has happened three times and she's only 2.5). My intent isn't to get anyone in trouble, it is to raise awareness and hopefully get him some training. This treatment isn't ok, especially by leadership to a customer. As I left I heard him complaining about the incident to his employees. Not appropriate. It shouldn't be "that bi*ch was so annoying" it should be "wow, thanks for the education, I'll make sure no pets come in in the future". Absolutely horrible...
Read moreI went in to do a quick pickup before I went to work. I got charged 3+ times on top of that they said my order never got put in. Mistakes happen and I 100% understand that but after that I called Peet’s and had the most difficult time. I was not only at work but they needed so much information and still fought me every step of them way even after showing proof from my bank statement. To top it all off I was told I will get my money back but it will take a week. So now there’s 80+ dollars Peet’s is just holding and I am unable to use of my own money. I don’t know of another coffee shop who “borrows” money without asking and will potentially pay me back. So all together a quick 20 dollar order cost me almost 100 dollars and I just might see that money and if I don’t I have to call them back and re submit everything and file another complaint. Definitely don’t want a “quick” pickup...
Read moreI order online almost every morning. These past few times I was given the wrong coffee. I call corporate and they just say they will work on it. Yesterday morning I come to pick up my coffee and it's wrong. I tell an employee and his response is "I don't know how you were able ordered it, because we don't have vanilla." I tell him that it's been the wrong coffee the past few times. His response was " If we aren't satisfying your needs then go to a different location." I was shocked at his answer. There was no customer service. I have been ordering for the past 3 years and this is the service I get. I am very disappointed and upset with how I was treated. No deserves to be...
